Nora sat at Starbucks, drinking her de-caf coffee and doing Crosswords in a book she had found laying on the street. She figured she looked like some sort of nerd, but she didn't really care.
((OKAY!))
Antimony wandered down the street. "Can I come out now?" said a voice from her bag. "No, Reynardine. You stay in the bag." she told him. He muttered indistinguishable words. "What was that?" she asked him in a tone which implied annoyance. ".... you try being a fox demon for a day, child." he replied. Antimony rolled her eyes. "It's not my fault you're stuck in that body. My mother made it, you know."
"Don't remind me."
There was a pause as she walked down the street.
"So, where are we headed?" he asked.
"Gilletie Woods." she replied. There was a crash from her bag, like something had fallen over.
"What? Are you mad, child?"
"No, I just wanted to see Coyote again."
"My dammed cousin?"
"That's the one." she replied cheerfully. Noticing his silence, she added, "If it wasn't for him you wouldn't be able to take bodies like this."
"If it wasn't for him," he spat back, "I wouldn't be here."
"Oh, Renard. You say that like it's a bad thing. You did ask him."
"... nevermind."

Nora drank the rest of her coffee in a big slurp and went outside. She didn't pay much attention to the people she was passing as she mumbled to herself.
Suddenly, the door to the bookstore Nora was about to enter swung open and slammed against the wall. Nora's eyes grew wide and she stepped back.
