lol yay! im gonna post anything good from my LA class. which won't be much......i hate writing assignments where the teacher does all the work.
Ok, Here's some depressing poems I wrote.
Shadow falls
The leaves turn bare
The song of the water
Draws me back
The willow calls me
Beckoning with her gentle branches
I must return
But for now I will remain
To dance with the lillys
To sing with the wind
To be at home once again
To watch the magic unfold
But I must remain
Remain till death cuts the chains that hold me down
and
Whispers
Lies
Death
I sit in a dreamless state
The fear of getting caught
Once again, once again
The water turns red
I have to run
But what, who cares about me
I’m a nothing, nothing
There is not a chance left
My last strand of hope is gone
It has flown away in the wind
The wind that whispers lies
The wind that betrays
The wind that will bring the death
To me, once again
Shadow falls
The leaves turn bare
The song of the water
Draws me back
The willow calls me
Beckoning with her gentle branches
I must return
But for now I will remain
To dance with the lillys
To sing with the wind
To be at home once again
To watch the magic unfold
But I must remain
Remain till death cuts the chains that hold me down
and
Whispers
Lies
Death
I sit in a dreamless state
The fear of getting caught
Once again, once again
The water turns red
I have to run
But what, who cares about me
I’m a nothing, nothing
There is not a chance left
My last strand of hope is gone
It has flown away in the wind
The wind that whispers lies
The wind that betrays
The wind that will bring the death
To me, once again
i likes them except--as i said before--they don't rhyme!
i like rhyming, it makes the poetry sound better and it gives it unity. a sense of rhythm is great too! i like the rhythm in your second one, but not so much in the first....

Thanks, I'm just not the rhyming type, but I'll make one right now... let meh think...
Watch the doves jump out of the fire
To watch them fly away free
Is my only one desire
But instead it's me
Trapped in this harsh world
Could I ever fly away
Instead I'm stuck curled
Here to stay
Until I've payed my deed
Only then can I be freed
There... It's not that good but it rhymes. Made for you expecially Ebony.

Since you wrote that lovely story about me I wrote a story about us... in japan. I'm Sakura and your Hanī. I wrote whatever they said in Japanese and put what they said in english right next to it. And every one word in japanese is capitalised. So if the words are suppose to be together to create one word then they are lower cased. EXAMPLE= Watashi wa watash(I'm) so all the first word is capitalized and the other two words are lower cased because all three words together make the one word I'm.
Enjoy Ebony! (I love cherry blossom trees... so that's why I made this story with cherry blossom trees. lol!)
Kanji no za Sakura
Friend of the Cherry Blossom
A girl sighed and looked up at the clouds that lazily floated by. The girl’s long black hair flew gently with the wind. Dark green eyes shifted towards the koi pond as she put her fingers onto the water and watched the ripples move. Some cherry blossom leaves landed on the water creating their own ripples. The girl heard some footsteps stepping onto the ancient stone stairs and turned around. Her cherry blossom outfit swirled in the breeze as she watched a long, blond haired girl come. She blinked her green eyes as the girl walked up to her and smiled.
“Hito Sa Anata?”(who are you) the black haired girl whispered. The girl looked at the blacked haired girl puzzled and smiled once more.
“Watashi wa watash Hanī.”(I’m Honey) she replied.
“Hanī.” the black haired girl said as if trying out every syllable of the word.
“Nani Sa Anata Okonau Koko de To Nani Sa Anata Na?”(what are you doing here and what is your name?) Honey asked quietly. The black haired girl looked afraid like she was going to run. “Te kudasai Watashi wa Imi Nashi Chōwa.”(Please I mean no harm) Honey whispered. The black haired girl looked up at her with glittering eyes.
“Watashi wa watash Sakura.”(I’m Cherry) The black haired girl said smiling for the first time. “ Kono Sa Za Haichi No Sa Sakura Kamisama .”(This is the place of the Cherry Blossom God) Sakura said looking around the place with wonder. Hanī too looked around and saw that there were cherry blossom trees in a circle around the koi pond. The grass moved with the wind and little Diamond Sparrows flew around creating a beautiful song that matched with the wind.
“Dono yō ni Utsukushii.”(How beautiful) Hanī murmured.
“Hai. Nomi Watshi wa To Watshi wa To shi masu Anata Shi~Tsute riu Nitsuite Kono Shinseina Haichi.”(Yes. Only I and I suppose you know about this sacred place.) Hanī grinned, admiring the beauty and was surprised when Sakura took her hand. “ Ki Watashi Atarashii Yūjin.”(Come my new friend) she laughed and pulled Hanī up. Sakura gracefully walked up the steps and ran up a small hill with Hanī scrambling behind. She stopped at the top of the hill and gazed at the cherry blossom. She sat down with Hanī and the two new friends watched the sun set and the ring of cherry blossom trees glow gold in the night sky.

kasumi ka kumo ka

sakura sakura

sakura sakura
yayoi no sorawa
mi-watasu kagiri
kasumi ka kumo ka
nioi zo izuru
izaya izaya
mini yukan
And here is the translation:
Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms,
On Meadow-hills and mountains
As far as you can see.
Is it a mist, or clouds?
Fragrant in the morning sun.
Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms,
Flowers in full bloom.
Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms,
Across the Spring sky,
As far as you can see.
Is it a mist, or clouds?
Fragrant in the air.
Come now, come,
Let’s look, at last!
