Renee walked down the streets, looking for the right thing.
Dierdre walked down the road, her horse's reins in her right hand while her left absentmindedly twirled a dagger, sharp and silver. She walked through the misty, dark, cold night, giant cloak on and hood drawn, and a smile spread across her face. She must look deadly, with what the longbow strung loosely over her shoulder, next to the quiver and the large, sharp dagger spinning around in her hand. People would think that she was a man. Her sword was sheathed at her waist, under her long, ground length cloak. Her hood was pulled up and her face was hidden in the shadows. All that was visible was her lips, curved into a seemingly devious grin
Liza walked down the street in a dirty tan dress, wary of the horse rider a few feet ahead of her. Having her eyes on the rider, she lost her footing on the cobbled street and tripped over a loose stone, sending her down, silently, but still, noticeably.
Brianna looked up at the road passing the small farm and sat down on a rock. She watched the road as she would many a day.
Deirdre caught Liza a's she fell, pulling her up just before she could hit the pavement."are you okay?" she asked in concern, pulling back her hood an letting her red hair flow around her.
"I'm fine." Liza straightened, looking Deirdre full in the face. She'd always objected to the 'look down when speaking to your peers' rule, and she didn't care that there may be consequences. "Thank you."
She looked into the younger girls eyes, smiling a's she saw her looking her in the eyes, a's well. She always hated it when people looked down when speaking to er, just because she was the princess. "what's your name, dear?" she asked gently.
"Liza." Liza was relieved when Deirdre wasn't angry with her for being so bold. But, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a group of soldiers who surely would punish her if they saw her looking their princess in the face. Her eyes darted downward, followed by her head.
Drusilla's gown flowed behind her as she climbed the stairs to her room. She hated this velvet, it was so heavy...As soon as she entered her room she pulled the heavy burgundy garment off and flung it on her bed. She pulled out a silk tunic her parents hated out of her closet and pulled it on. "Milady?" A servant popped her head in through the now open door. "Do you need help?" The young woman asked. "No, thank you." Drusilla replied as she finished pulling leather pants on. "I'm going out." She said, brushing past the servant-girl on her way out the door. "But milady, your father would hate you going out on your ow-""I don't care." Drusilla replied, wrapping her long black braid in a coil around her head. "And if one word of this reaches my fathers ears, I'll know who told him." She pulled a bow out of a concealed cupboard in the wall outside her door, and headed out.
She was momentarily confused, but a quick survey of the street and she realized that there were soldiers there. She smiled gently, lifting Liza's head to meet her eyes. "Do not worry, little one. They will not punish you if I do not will it. And I surely do not will it. My name is Deirdre, and I am 18 years old. How old are you, Liza?" she finished, letting her finger fall from beneath the girl's chin, happy that her head did not fall once again, but stayed level.
"I'm thirteen." Liza said, smiling at Dierdre. She'd never met someone who could control soldiers that way before. Then again, she'd never met a princess.((I'm having a bad day for typing. Sholdiers then sodiers then soliers!))
Drusilla stepped down the front steps quickly, hurrying out the front gates into the main square. She noticed her sister on a horse, talking to a peasant, and decided to skirt around. She wasn't in the mood to talk at the moment.
((haha, it's all good. I'm having a bad day in general, feel good about yourself. :D))She noticed her younger sister but ignored her. She couldn't deal with that drama right then.
"Well, it's loverly to meet you, Liza. And who are your parents and siblings? I may know them, I am friends with many in the town." She said, smiling gently.
"I don't have any siblings, and my father's dead." Liz said, holding her gaze. Drusilla wove her way through town, skirting the people she knew, until she reached the gate. She stopped. Her father had chosen this day, of all days, to guard the gate. She turned left, walked for a while, and started to climb over.
She frowned, but said nothing, sensing and realizing the touchy subject, and changed it." oh. Well, and what do you like to do?" she asked. "I like to hunt and run and fight, but only with good cause, for example."
She nodded knowingly."Me, too. I just got back from all the way in the next 3 countries over. It stinks, being a princess. So i ran away temporarily."
((:(:)PIGGY!))"Hm." Liz smiled, "I like picking things, but I haven't had much chance for fighting or hunting........"
Victor was out walking around without an escort....for once "finally.....peace...."
he heard talking "ahh.....so the princess is out and about yet again....."
he glanced at Liz and Dierde.

he glanced at Liz and Dierde.
Drusilla dropped to the ground silently. She glanced in the direction of the guards, but they were talking animatedly about something or another, she didn't want to know. She headed into the trees, seeking peace and quiet.
Victor sighed "just be sure to come home....haha i know where your adventerous mind wanders....."
he walked off into the forset heading to his favorite spot.
he walked off into the forset heading to his favorite spot.
Drusilla followed an abandoned path,, not realizing this was the way to her brother's favorite spot. She was silent, watchful, arrow knocked and ready to fly if she happened across anything...
Victor reached a small pond and sat down by a tree.
Drusilla froze when she saw her brother. Luckily his eyes were shut, or he'd have seen her. She slowly started backing away, but her foot stepped on a large twig, which snapped loudly under pressure. "Dammit!" she muttered under her breath, watching her brother.
Victor opened his eyes an looked at her,he smiled slightly "ahhh.....your wandering around too?"

"I have the strangest feeling that you'd like it a lot." she said, smiling back.

"I have the strangest feeling that you'd..."
"Maybe.,.." Liz considered the idea, eyes unfocused.

"Yes." Drusilla said.
Victor chuckled and got up "what are you doing here though?"

"Wanna try it?" she asked, a slightly mischeivious glint in her eyes.

"Sure. Why not?" Liz shrugged, but noted the mischievous glint.
Hazuma wrote: "Victor chuckled and got up "what are you doing here though?""
"Take three guesses. Then tell me why you're here." Drusilla looked at him. Her face was serious, and her eyes a mix of serious and smiling.

"YES! I have a hunting partner! Do you know how to shoot a bow and arrow?" she asked
"Sorta...." Liz said, somewhat guiltily. Peasants weren't supposed to know how to use weapons, but her dad had taught her a few years back.
She smiled."Good." She said, handing over the homemade longbow and quiver strung to her back.
"I'll just use my daggers." She said, adjusting the sheaths in their places.
"'Tis my pleasure, Liz. Shall we?" She asked, gesturing gently towards the path into the forest that bordered the western half of the village.
They ran side by side through the forest until they reached a small, nearly imperceptable clearing of trees. Dierdre motioned for her to stop, pointing to a large buck, roughly 10 meters away.
She nodded approvingly at the girl's aim. As soon as the arrow hit directly at it's target, and she went off to take care of the prey, she spotted a bear. Remain calm, she thought, you can handle this, no problem.
She had four dagger in her hands in a blur of movement, twirling them to position and aim and throwing them. They hit the leg, but the bear had spotted her. She grappled with it in hand to paw combat for five full minutes before she was able to withdraw a knife and stab the bear in the heart, instantly silencing it. She pushed it off of the top of her, wiping a line of blood from her mouth. Her entire boddy hurt and there was her own blood and skin all over the forest floor and herself. She was in shreds, and she was nearly positive that both her left leg and right arm were badly broken. She groaned. Her father was going to kill her.

"Well, I like walking in the forest because there's supposed to be no one here. And I can get out of those awful dresses my father likes me wearing so much."
Victor chuckled "why....you always did look good in them"
Drusilla didn't smile. "You know how much I hate them. Don't joke. They're all heavy and huge and tight."
Victor sighed "yeah you may be right but you still looked good in them"
Victor smiled slightly and walked up to her.
