I didn't realize The Hunger Games got banned.

Then again, Gatsby got banned on sex grounds and there was next to nothing about sex in that book.
They don't even talk about sex in the first book. People don't even read these books before they ban them.

I wrote my grade 3-4 teacher and 5-6 teacher e-mails saying thank you for not having tortured me with Wrinkle back in elementary after having read the story. They both essentially said the same thing - they didn't want to torture themselves either. Then told me I was lucky I ended up in the advance classes, because back then everyone else was stuck reading it.
