Going home for his grandfather’s funeral, thirty-year-old bachelor Daikichi is floored to discover that the old man had an illegitimate child with a younger lover! The rest of his family is equally shocked and embarrassed by this surprise development, and not one of them wants anything to do with the silent little girl, Rin. In a fit of angry spontaneity, Daikichi decides to take her in himself! But will living with this overgrown teenager of man help Rin come out of her shell? And hang on, won’t this turn of events spell doom for Daikichi’s love life?!




I grew a liking for this when I read it at the store, and decided to buy it when the second volume comes out, which is this month.

Yeah, I read it pretty fast, but that's just me and I was standing in the store...it felt like I was one of those characters/people you always see in a store reading manga or looking at a magazine.

Ah! Right. I find Rin my favorite out of everyone, since she is really mature for her age, although I feel really sad for her since everyone in the family treats her like dirt.

i havent read any yet...sooo yeah but i probably agree with you.

The jist, no one in the family wants her since to a lot of them it is creepy to take in a girl who is the main male Daikichi's grandfather's daughter, thus making her Daikichi's aunt. I mean it would be kind of creepy to be around your 30's and have an aunt who is only 6.

But I probably would still take her in.

i just finished it earlier, its so cute! this is a really good manga, it has good insights into parenthood and the characters are so awesome. i also enjoyed the art.

Yeah, I can't wait until this weekend, I'm going to read volume 2. And what's funny, it is way better then any parenting book I've been forced to read...>_<

Yeah...those evil, evil books.
The second volume just came out this month, but who knows.
The art being so clean is one reason why it was a really quick read for me, I didn't have to spend a few minutes trying to figure out what is going on.

i hate it when theres so much happening with the art the story becomes hard to read.

Yeah, like Aventura.

It's really good but the artwork has so many realistic touches and a lot tends to go on in every page.

another one is ouran high school host club, there were so many little comments in the backround it was difficult to focus.

Another is Rave Master, you have to watch what goes on in the backgroud of the series because sometimes there are extra chapters about what was going on.

Sadly only the first two volumes and that was back in seventh grade.

Yes, Naruto is horrid when it comes t dragging storylines...
I liked One Piece, until I noticed how long the series is...same goes for Bleach in a way, I liked the beginning and lost interest somewhere during the Soul Society section...

yes naruto is a fail in that department.
one peice's art is a litle weird for my tastes, though i'm kinda a hypocrite because i loved rave master and that art is almost the same.
same with me! i barely got started on the arancar ark.

I've decided that I'll go back to Bleach once it is completely finished. Same with One Piece...or at least I'll finish the first ark or so. And if I wanna know anything about Naruto I'll ask my friends who still read it.

i know, i'm not gonna touch bleach until its done for sure....which could be years :/

Yeah, and my other informant informs me on whether a yaoi is good or not, if it hard-core or lovey-dovey...and then my other one keeps me posted on Hetalia, and I also have one that keeps me posted on when new chapters of Kuroshitsuji come out...>_< I have too many connections.

Yeah, I have an informant for almost everything.
The yaoi is only because I have tons of friends who adore yaoi.
