So I guess if everyone is on board, we will read The Kite Runner, and after we're done with this one, we can read one of Mitch's suggestions.

Are we gonna try to post once a week to discuss a specific topic? Also, are we gonna set a page number for each week or a certain number of chapters?

Apparently you are the only one participating in this read! What do you think would be a good goal for you? Do you think you can get to page 150 (or the end of that chapter) by next week?

I would like to do a weekly check-in. Maybe every 100-200 pages or so. I am totally flexible on this. Just give me your feedback.

With some of the other reading that I'm doing - not to mention "life" events - that is a reasonable pace.

Are we gonna discuss plot points, symbolism, characterization?

Never mind. I just read your questions in the other post.

I'll try and get to 150, but I should definitely be able to knock out the first 100 pages.
