Cass walked through the woods searching for anything strange.

Cass climbed up a tree and used her cloak to remain hidden so that almost nobody could see her.

Gilean ran through the forest, not making a sound, when he saw a knight. He quickly climbed up a tree and watched.

((yeh thats not good))

Gilean stiffled a laugh, nearby he heard the same sound and saw Cass in a tree trying not to burst out laughing. "We should help hime." he called softly. "Alright." Cass replied in the same tone.

"No need for foul launguage." Gilean said leaping form a tree in front of him. "Now Gilean i would do the same thing if i fell off my horse, which i wouldn't." said Cass coming in behind Gilean.

"That is a very good question." Gilean said. "But we might not awnser it." said Cass

((The king's name is Duncan))
"The same as yours." Gilean replied. "You are one of Duncan's knights aren't you?" Cass asked.

((What?))
"Good. I am Gilean and thats Cassandra. We are Rangers." Gilean said to him. Cass nodded.

Cass saw out of the corner of her eye some movement. "Is everyone in the woods today? Hi Alice." she said walking over to Alice.

"Hi Alice." Gilean said still looking at Ehoi.

"No, but he is making us laugh." Gilean said smiling.

"What is it." Asked Gilean hesitatly, if Alice needed help with it, it was sure to be dangerous. Cass walked over and was thinking along those same lines. "Yes tell us what you could possibly need our help with." she said

Gilean watched the knight trying to hide a puzzled expression. Why was the knight interested in Alice?

Gilean and Cass frowned, "Wonderful, we have a murderer on the loose." Cass said. "Did he give you any info on this murderer?" Gilean asked.

"Hmmm... not much to go by..." Gilean said. Cass turned back to the knight and looked at him, "Why are you in the woods anyway?" she asked the young knight

"Alright then." Gilean said "I'll see you later." "Where were you going, I'll help you get there if you want." Cass said. Gilean turned and walked toward his hut in the woods some miles away

"All right, but don't cause any trouble this is my fief." Cass said turning away and walking to her own hut

((It's like a city kind of, yes you may))

Gilean reached his hut quickly seeing how he sprinted, he went inside and cooked dinner.

Cass went to her own hut and brushed her horse named Castor.

Gilean ate dinner and decided to go on a patrol around the woods. He walked outside and circled half the woods, he stopped when he noticed a woman walking by herself. "Excuse me ma'am, but were ,might you be going?" He asked. The woman turned and saw him then ran. Gilean tried to follow her but soon lost sight of her. "I had better tell Alice." He said walking to her hut.

Cass finished grooming Castor and decided to go into town.

Gilean knocked softly at the door.

Cass rode Castor to the market in town and picked up a few things there. She started to ride back to her hut.

"Alright." Gilean walked through the door. He saw Alice eating dinner, "Sorry to disturb you Alice, but I think I may have seen your murderer." he said

Cass walked into her hut and gasped, all her things were throw around. Everything had been dumped out onto the floor. She searched to see if anything was missing. The map of the rangers was missing. It was a map that showed the location of every ranger in the kingdom. She her Castor neighing and went out to see what was the matter. She walked out the door and felt a sharp pain in the back of her head and blacked out. Castor scared away the man who had hit her and nudged Cass. She didn't get up. Worried, Castor went to Alice's house to get help.

Gilean help up his hand, "It's okay i've already eaten." suddenly they heard neighing coming from outside.

Gilean also walked outside he sighed, "Now what has Cass done.Lead the way Castor." he said mounting his horse ((what was Gilean's horse called again?))

((I shall call him Kire))

Gilean galloped away also.

"Darn it Cass!" Gilean grumbled and got off his horse.

"Do you think if i slap her she'll wake up?" Gilean asked. Upon hearing Cass woke up and said "Ahh, no slapping please!"

Gilean chuckled, "I knew that would work." he said smiling. Cass frowned, "That wasn't very nice." "It wasn't ment to be." Gilean replied

"My map of the rangers has been stolen." Cass said

Gilean frowned, "Why would they want that?"

"I was riding home after our meeting with the knight, when i went inside everything was scatter around like it had been searched. I heard Castor neighing so i went outside. All I remember was walking out the door before i blacked out." Cass said frowning

Gilean was also thinking, Cass looked at both of them then said, "Someone say something!"

"Ha ha." Cass said while Gilean was snickering quietly.

"Where are you off to now?" Gilean asked raising an eyebrow. Cass looked at Alice too.

"Uh huh." Gilean said still not sure if that was where she was going or not. "Bye Alice, let me know if you see my map!" Cass said.

Gilean and Cass looked at each other. "Fight?" Cass asked, "Fight." Gilean repeated. Gilean lunged at Cass and got her in a headlock, but she kicked him in the shin making him let go. Before she could hit him, Gilean pulled out his knife and pointed it at Cass. "I win." he said. Cass sighed, "Fine but i'll get you later." Gilean started walking along a path. "Where you going?" Cass asked. "To find that knight we met." Gilean replied not stopping. "I'm coming with you." she said. "Fine." Gilean replied and they both went in search of the knight.

Cass walked alongside Gilean, "Where are we going?" she asked. "To my place to pick something up." Gilean replied.

Gilean and Cass stopped at Gilean's place. Gilean walked inside and pulled something out of a cabinet. It was a sword. Gilean buckeled the sword onto his belt and walked out. Cass noticed it and asked, "You can use a sword?" "Yes." Gilean replied. "Oh." Cass said in confusion. "We are going to part ways now." Gilean said looking ahead. "What?! I thought we were looking for the knight together." Gilean shook his head, "You are going to look for the knight, I am going to go tracking." he said. Cass looked confused "Fine." she said knowing Gilean wouldn't tell her were she was going. She turned around and rode away on Castor. Gilean sighed, it was time to go after the people who wanted the map, the Black Hand. They were an organization that was trying to destroy the ranger corps. They almost succeeded until two rangers had stopped them, Gilean and Alice. Alice would know he had gone after the Black Hand, but he would be to far ahead for them to stop him.

Cass rode to her house, angry at Gilean for making her leave. She heard something in the bushes and pulled out her kinfe for protection. She saw an arrow fly out of the bush and heard cries of shock from the other side.

Cass peered around the bushes and saw Alice and the knight. She ran into the bush were the arrow had come from and saw a man. She pulled out her two knives for protection.

"Who are you?" she asked the man that was attacking Alice.

Gilean cantered foward to the Black Hand's know HQ.

The man did not awnser so Cass atacked and the two came tumbling out of the bush and into Alice and Ehoi.

"Leave my friend alone!" yelled Cass and she wacked the man so hard he passed out. Cass ran over to Alice "Are you okay?!" she asked seeing the blood on her shirt.

"I can see that, but its too bad is it?" Cass asked "I wish Gilean were here, he was good with inguries." she said sadly.

"I don't know where he went, he said he was going 'tracking', any idea where that might be?" Cass asked.

"You mean the Black Hand?!" Cass asked in shock, "Why would he go there?"

Cass thought for a moment then said, "Yes he is, but that still doesn't tell me why he's going there."

"Then i'm coming with you." Cass said "But first we need to patch you up."

Cass pulled out some bandages out of her saddle bag and started to dress Alice's wound. "What about them?" she asked nodding towards Ehoi, and the passed out man and women.

Cass finished tending to her wound. "Do you want to leave now?" she asked.
