Okay, I'll be posting a bunch of different stuff in here. So, first I shall post my main project, my novel: Daydreamer.

Description: Taylor Evernight is a normal fifteen year old girl, except for the fact she cannot stop daydreaming. She spends her free time in her imagination, creating worlds and wielding incredible powers. That is as close she can come to anything unusual...

Until one day she is thrown into a world she had no idea existed. Now she is struggling to learn what is a daydream and what is reality.

Preface(This isn't in the story itself because I thought of it after seven or so chapters):

Most people want something special to happen to them. They think that their lives would be so much better with a little excitement in them. You might even be one of them. I'm telling you right now that you are dead wrong, and I would know. I always wished for the same thing. Excitement, and an intersting life, I would have given anything for it. Now I'd give anything to have a normal life. I just want things to go back to normal. But more than anything I wish that it never happened in the first place. I wish that I was just a normal girl. That I was ignorant enough to believe that this only happened in book. But that is impossible. No matter how much I wish, beg and plead, I can't change anything. You probably don't know what I'm talking about so maybe I should go back a bit...

Ailina

Okay, I need some help. Which idea do you like better for my NaNo WriMo?

a) Sort of a post-apoctolipic setting. The continents are starting to collide with each other. Basically it would be an account of what's happing from the POV of people around the world.

b) It's like a forgein exchange student program...but with other worlds. No one knows about it really, one day the government will come and tell you that you are going to such and such and you have no choice about it.

or c) What happens when a Necromancer dies? This one would follow the story of a recently deceased Necromancer as they try to adjust for the living world to the dead [this one I'm worried that it is too much like Niki's "Angel For Hire" (http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/5273...)]

Please please please please help.

More like a few hundred years from now, but yeah, that consept. Also I was planning on having Necromancers as the people who can see/talk to/raise spirts.

I think I'm going to go with choice b for my NaNo. Thanks for the help though...I might use the other two for future NaNos or just write them on there own.

Okay, I have another question. Can anybody help me with a cover for either Daydreamer or my NaNo (I probably going to call that Exchange). I can't download anything on my computer because it is the "family computer" and if someone would make one for me I would be sure to give them the proper credit. I would really appreciate any help I could get.

Description: Jemmy Larson is not your typical teenager in the year 2198. She has been given anything she could ever want. Her parents have spoiled her since the day she was born. She's never had to work for anything in her life. Anyone who meets her can easily say that her life is beyond perfect.

But Jemmy is far from content. And, when the impossible happens, she must find out what is really going on in her life. Soon, she uncovers a secret that could destroy worlds. Now, she has to make a choice that could kill her and everyone she loves.

So I'm failing absolutely epically at NaNo this year(my first year). The second week is as good as over (at this point I should have somewhere around 25,000 words)and I only have 963 words. At this rate, I'll never make it. But, even though I'm completely stressed, and basically ignore everything my teachers say so I can write, I'm really enjoying it. I love Jemmy and how she's turning out. So, I figured I'd post a few excperts from it.

This is from chapter 1(which will hopefully be up soon)

"Shh. She's still asleep." My dad whispered. Or, should I say, he said, considering the fact he was loud enough to wake me up. I kept my eyes closed, hoping they'd leave and I could go back to sleep. I had no such luck.

"Maybe we should just let her sleep. Surprise her when she wakes up." My mom said. You should do that, I thought. Better yer, don't surprise me at all.

"But it's a tradition. And besides, she loves us waking her up for this." No, she doesn't. Now please shut up and let me go back to sleep.

"Fine, but turn off her alarm, and kids step back. I don't want it to go off, or for one of us to be punched." Not a bad idea. Maybe a punch in the gut will get you two to shut up! "Jemmy, honey, you need to wake up."

I opened my eyes to see my mom leaning over my, my dad right behind her, with one of those super dorky party hats on his head--God, could he be any more embarrassing?--and my brother, Thadius and sister, Dena, behind him. I groaned.

"SURPRISE!" All four of them yell, loud enough to chase away any chance of returning to sleep. I muttered a few words under my breath that recieved giggles from my siblings and a glare from my mom.

The next is from an undecided chapter (probably 3) it's still Jemmy's b-day and someone just knocked on the door

My mom came back followed closely by two men in suits, sunglasses, and those ear communicator things. They were definitely government people. They sat down on a couch opposite of me. My mom still stood at the doorway .

"Jemmy," The way she said it, I thought I was in major trouble. Great, just what I needed. "These men want to talk to you." And if you did anything wrong, I want to know about it. I added mentally.

"You're Jemalina Ser--" One said, rather officially.

"It's Jemmy." I cut him off, quickly. No matter how high up he was for any government, nobody calls me Jemalina. He stiffened, not really sure how to respond.

"Okay, Jemmy, is it?" I nodded. "Well, we'd like to talk to you for a moment."

"Yeah, I got that. Most people don't stop by, to look at a person, they come to talk. Also, you're already talking to me. So, yeah, that was kinda obvious." The government guys--or as I started to think of them as the GGs--laughed nervously.

"Yes, I suppose so. I am Bryant Spencer, and this is my partner, Royce Evans."

"Okay?" Come on all ready, get on with it, why am I in trouble.

"Now, first off, you aren't in any trouble." Cue sigh of relief from Mom.

"Then why are you here?"

"Well," Bryant--who names their kid Bryant? That's almost worse than Jemalina--shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "You've been selected for the IESP."

"The what?"

"IESP--Intergalactic Exchange Student Program." Royce said, as though just saying that would make us go, "Oh, I've heard of that." Which he was sadly mistaken.

"So?" I tried not to laugh as Royce took a shocked breath.

"So? So? It's only one of the most prestigious events you can take place in. And, you've been selected to do so!" I didn't know a fully developed guy's voice could go that high. Or squeak like that.

"Then why haven't I ever heard of it?" At this point Royce's face was red. And so was mine. From trying not to laugh.

So I was talking about Exchange with a girl named Bailey and was talking about how Jemmy was turning out to be such a smart-ass. She suggested a having a part in the story. I probably won't ever post it on my real story(in case my mom ever decides to care about what I'm doing and read it; highly unlikely) but I'm gonna post it here, because she gave me such a great idea.

"Why?" Jarrod asked.

"Why what?"

"Why are you such a smart-ass?"

"Well, I wouldn't have to be such a smart-ass if you weren't such a dumb-ass." I said. The next thing I knew my face was stinging. "Did you just bitch slap me?"

"I don't know. Did it feel something like this?" He raised his had and was about to slap me again when I grabbed it and bit it as hard as I could. Then, all hell broke loose. In the form of a cat fight. With a dude. And people say that I'm pathetic.

They changed the format for liking stories. And in doing so, they deleted every single comment that everyone left after clicking the "like" button. And I am NOT happy about it. AT ALL!!! Those hijos de puta!

Though that's what you were talking about. I HATE IT TOO. It also somehow delted all the likes that people had on my stories. And it kills me. A lot of those comments were constructive criticism!!

I know. I loved so many of them. And now they're gone. It didn't delete your likes, it just set them for each chapter, instead of the whole story. Which I hate that too, makes you feel like not as many people like it. Do you mind taking a poll about, we're trying to get as many people to take it as possible, so we could show it to the officals or something like that. Show them that so many people dislike it. The Secret Diary Of Emily Carlton

Description: ATTENTION: This story is being co-written by Kelsie and Amaranta

Emily Carlton had everything coming to her. She was a child prodigy. Had great friends. Everything a girl could ask for...Until the car accident that killed her.

A few monthes after the accident, Lisa and Caren--Emily's two best friends--were helping her mom clean out Emily's room. While cleaning, they found a diary hidden in the back of one of her drawers. They started to read it and realized that Emily's life was far from perfect, and the accident was probably just the opposite.

If I now have you hooked, you'll be happy to know that there are currently five chapters and one prologue up. Kelsie and I have split what's being written. So far I've written the prologue, and all the even chapters, Kelsie's written the odd chapters.
