it was the first day of school, and Rose Lochheart felt prepared for anything. however. she was not prepared for ______ (someone else's guy character). he was in almost all of her classes, all the normal ones, but not her special classes like choir and Yearbook.

Matt yawned as he put his bag in his locker and looked around curiously. He gathered his books and caught the eyes of Rose and smiled at her before walking into the bathroom.
Rose smiled back and blushed. she was having a hard time with her locker. finally she got it open and unloaded her black shoulder bag style bag. she piled her 1st to 4th hour supplies atop her binder and headed to Mrs. Yiff's room for first period math. Rose loathed math, and was fairly terrible at it. she hoped Matt was in her class.
He combed out his hair with his delicate fingers and walked to his math class. He hated math the most out of all of his subjects, but somehow dealt with it.
Aster was the first one to enter the room. Math was her least favorite subject, and her older brother had described Mrs.Yiff as "a teacher sent to do Satan's dirty work" Aster shivered and sat down in the very corner of the room by the window, her favorite place.
when Rose strolled in she automatically sat down beside Aster. "well, how was your summer?" she asked politely. as if she didn't know. they had emailed and FB-ed all summer long and hung out quite a bit.
"Hey Rose, my summer was fine. But you of all people should probably know," Aster laughed.
Aster leaned in closer to Rose, "So," she said, "is Matt in this class?"
She smiled.

She smiled.
Rose laughed. "i was making polite conversation!" she lowered her voice to a whisper. "yes, he's sitting in the other corner." they both peered over and giggled to themselves. "he smiled at me!" Rose murmured confidentially.
"Really!? Maybe He'll ask you out! I bet he likes you. I could like, ask him if he likes you."
Seeing the look on Rose's face she added, "Not right now! If I catch him in the hallway or something."

Matt walked in and sat in the middle row in the back. He accidentally flung his pencil across the room and laughed before going to pick it up watching faces for reactions.
simultaneously, the two girls swung their heads around before he caught them staring. Rose stifled a laugh in her hand.
He walked over to Aster and Rose and sat down raising a brow. "Something humors you two?" he asked.
"The T.V." he answered trying to crack a joke but failed. "It's so quiet." he noticed.
Aster looked around the room. There were only 5 kids in there. She was confused. The bell had already rung.
"Weird, there are only 5 kids in here."
"Weird, there are only 5 kids in here."
He chuckled softly. "I'll catch you guys later." he said and walked back to his seat as the bell rang happy the day was only one period less to end.
Aster watched Matt leave and head over to the seat in front of the other boy.
She watched him again for no apparent reason.

Matt turned around "Beats me." he shrugged. "But I don't have to hear her voice anymore." He smiled slightly.
Aster turned her head as one more student walked in the room. Then decided to read. She pulled out a book.
"Hopefully." he said and watched the door intently. "You new here? I didn't see you last year."
It was 10 minutes past when the bell rang, and there were only 6 kids, and no teacher. Something is definitely wrong, she thought.
((lmfaoo))
"Matthew, just call me Matt." he said and nodded. He was already beginning to like him. "Why don't we make the best of math for now?"

Mrs. Yiff then walked through the door her voice grating she said "sorry for the wait" (anyone can play her)
((Sure!))
Aster got out of her seat and looked out the window. There were no cars in the parking lot.

"Forget it. She showed her face." he said. "But it's called locking the door."
"Depends. A lot of teachers I know usually give a lecture the first day of school which puts the class to sleep."
