I wouldn't mind continuing . . .most of the movies on the summer list I hadn't seen prior and ended up loving. I barely get to watch movies these days and it was nice to have the list because it pushed me to set aside some tv time for myself.

I wouldn't mind either. I didn't get to watch all the summer ones but I loved the list and read all the comments (someday!). I think it would be great to have more "new" movies put in front of me.

I liked discussing the movies -- I had less time to spend on them in the late August discussions due to my work but would have liked to continued on then too. There were still a lot of good ones in the original list and I know I have come across some titles since that I would like to try out, so maybe we could gather some new recommendations too. I think it gives a break from having to read a whole book to enjoy a discussion.
Sounds great! I ADORE film so I'm definitely up for more!

That's what I like best about the discussions, too Sarah--a film is done faster than a book, but still gives plenty to talk about! Let's see what more people think.

Rachel you took the words right out of my mouth! A film is done faster than a book. I've enjoyed the film discussions here and would love to see them continue!
Film is definitely the deciding factor for me. We lead such busy lives that it does seem that watching a flick is easier than a book, but either way I am good with everyone's opinion.
All right, sounds like we're continuing--YAY!!
I will start a new folder for "Fall Films" and get suggestions from everyone!

Does anyone have any interest in talking to everyone about maybe starting to do this again? I thought it would be something fun to do?-Pammie
I think it would be fun - there are lots of movie fans in the group - may be start a new thread. Have any specific direction in mind as to type of movie?
I think we should all talk about it as a group. Should I make the thread or would you like to,Megan?-Pammie
I love film and am a huge movie fan. I would be down to watching and discussing different ones. What types are we looking to doing? What genres?

Do we want to continue them on into the fall?
There are plenty we haven't talked about yet that were suggested when the idea originally began. Or, do we all find that it's time to stop?
