Gotta say this is a good book. It's by an English university student who went to jail for a petty crime and decided to study the other prisoners and compile their life stories. It's interesting to get an insight into the lives of people on the margins of society and he meets some really bizarre people- a cannibal who ate part of someone's leg, an arms dealer who was selling machine guns and hand grenades, an eccentric international drug smuggler who thought of himself as a modern day buchaneer and many more. I'd definitely recommend it.
Anybody else read this kind of thing? Any suggestions for me?
