Book Review
Going Bovine by Libba Bray
(Note: I'm not quite finished with it yet, I'll post a full review in the Reader's Dream section when I'm done with it, k?)
Wow.
Just wow.
I love this book. It's just like the Percy Jackson and the Olympian's series except slightly more . . .mature (drug references, sexual references, excessive swearing and all that good stuff). The main character has very interesting views on everything from public transportation to the after life. Plus his two companions, Gonzo the paranoid, gaming dwarf and Balder, a garden gnome who may or may not be the enchanted form of the Norse god, Balder.
Awesome book.

I totally agree. That book made me laugh. Balder is my favorite.

Me too.
I love the part where he's like, "I have a house! It's called Byrne . . .Bagel . . .Balder's House! You guys should come visit me there and try and kill me sometime."

Hahah! I remember that! Good Ol' Balder! :)

Dulcie was awesome too. A sugar-addicted angel that spray-paints her wings.

And has some freaky-awesome view on things. She's quirky, it's great.

My, my, my.
Terribly sorry about not being on for awhile.
