That is interesting! I love the books until book 11 and 12 then they got a little old. I remember laying in bed reading and laughing so hard I couldnt breath. I wonder who they got to play Grandma??

Let's hope she can pull off a good Jersey accent!

At first, I wasn't happy that Katherine Heigl was playing Stephanie Plum, but after seeing her in Killers, I think she will do a good job.

Denise, grandma Mazur will be played by Debbie Reynolds.

Morelli is going to be played by Jason O'Mara, Daniel Sunjata is going to be Ranger, and Sherri Shepard is playing Lula.

I think Sherri is going to make a really good Lula, but I'm still on the fence with the male cast.

I love the Stephanie Plum series! I'll admit, though, that the later books have been just mediocre, but since I've read them all, I've continued to read the newest ones even if they're just sub-par. I'm excited to see the movie, though!

I agree with you, alicia, that Sherri Shepard looks like she'll be a good Lula.

I'm torn with my feelings about Katherine Heigl being Stephanie Plum -- but at the same time I can't think of anyone else who'd play it better. That being said, I'm excited to see the film adaptation regardless, just because I'd love to compare what I always imagined the characters to be versus how they're portrayed on screen.

Oooh, good one, Melissa! Especially since Sandra has brown hair, which (if I'm not mistaken) Stephanie is known for having in the books. And she's the right height that I imagined -- Heigl is too tall IMO.

Yeah, Sandra is good at playing clumsy, ditzy people (Miss Congeniality) but also being serious.

I would have loved it if Sandra was playing it. I'm curious to see how Katherine Heigl would do in the role though.

I love the Stephanie Plum series; although, I decided to spread it out a little after reading #10. It bugs me that Janet Evanovich is now my "most-read author". Doesn't seem right...
