What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

There are two children (a girl and a boy) who move into a house in the forest. They discover a colony of small mutants living under their house that are either missing body parts (eyes, limbs, fingers, etc) or have them crudely stitched on. The queen wants to kill them both but the girl convinces them not to if she'll be their slave (I think). I read this book in middle school from the school library, so the age range would be 11-13. The cover is black with cartoony looking eyeballs and stitches on it. The name of the book is something like "The Creepies" or "The Weirdoes". Can anyone help me name this book?

I figured it out. The book is called The Beasties by William Sleator.
