Have a new release? A great new review? Events that you want a little extra buzz for? Have you signed a new contract? This is the place to let everyone know!

Beth (msbhavens1) | 24 comments Thought I'd speak up and ask what everyone is up to, any new releases coming up? anyone writing something off the grid, etc..? Any new SCA related releases that anyone has seen? either fiction or non fiction? I think the closest I've come on that front is I recently read "The Lo Tech Navigator" which had a ton of useful info in it, some of which would count as medieval. Just thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing. now IIRC Dayle has a Bday coming up, Hope you make out like a Mongol on a good raid.
Me I'm writing a fighter poem for the last crown tourney but that's about all I'm up to on the literary front at the moment. Anyway thought I'd pipe up and check in with the group. MissB

S. P. Hendrick (sphendrick) | 11 comments Ack! Fighter poem...almost forgot.

"The Coin Of The Realm" (Volume 3 of The Glastonbury Chronicles) will be released May 1 and "The Great Queen's Hound" (Volume 2 of Tales of the Dearg-Sidhe aka Dubhghal II) will be out June 21, both from Pendraig Publishing and both will be available on Kindle and Nook shortly thereafter.

October 31 will bring "The Rose Above The Sword", Volume 4 of The Glastonbury Chronicles, and I have books scheduled for the same dates next year.

Right now I am finishing Chapter 16 of next June;'s release, "The Pale Mare's Fosterling" (Volume 3 of Tales of the Dearg-Sidhe) The other 2 releases for next year are already written.

It has been a busy year...3 1/2 novels written since last March. HAven't had time for much SCA, but will be at Robin Hood Archery Tourney both shooting and selling books as well as acting as merchant steward, and will be at Altavia Anniversary May 7, hopefully with copies of the May release, if the printer gets them to me in time.

The May release is set far in the future with memories from the distant past. The June release is set during the time of the war between King Stephen of England and his cousin Emoress Mathilda. Next June's release is set during the reign of King John. October's release is again in the future, as are those for May and October 2012, but both series are related and interweave.

I've had five releases this year so far, and I have another two due between now and July. One of the coming ones is a rare contemp erom from me, and the other is straight genre dark fantasy/horror.
