SCA Authors discussion

Bethie and friends have a great idea for an SCA Authors event. In addition, people may want to arrange for small regional events, joint signings, or other get-togethers of our authors. This is the place to do so!

I think Maybe I'd like to post any events that might be of interest to authors here, for instance right this moment I think we have more romance oriented authors, than Sci Fi, so if the Epic awards are coming up I think its worth posting here, and any thing that might be useful for authors, and as we get more Sci Fi or even Non fiction writers aboard anything that pertains to them. What do you think? And of course the SCA Author Con, once we get a quorum. I think a one day seminar would be fabulous, if I can find the people to speak and the people to come. :)

Absolutely! I put information on EPICon in the events. I can post a thread about it as well. The contest is already done for the year...for the books themselves. The cover art contest is coming up.

OH! And be sure to point kids to EPIC's free youth writing contest, New Voices. It's going on until Oct 20th. Middle and High School students worldwide are welcome. Ages 11-18.
