The cold wind nipped Idrial's face. She wrapped her long red cloak tighter around herself and pressed on.
Desalune walked through the forest in her shorts and tank top, the cold air not bothering her one bit. She actually enjoyed it, if it was to be believed, and she wished that she was more exposed to it, but there were limits as to what she could do. She had been on the run for two years now, on her own. She was scared out of her wits and had no idea of how she ate at night, but she somehow managed to stay alive.
Omie stopped, feeling the air. She was alone. For now anyways, there was always someone watching you.
Isis lounged in a tree, one leg dangling down. Aiya was beside him in another branch, preening her feathers.
Saffy sat by a lake, leaning up against a tree with her book. One of her feet was in the water, and she was using her other leg to hold her book on.
Unsure of what else to do, Isis jumped down from the tree, letting Aiya perch on his shoulder. He walked to the lake and noticed Saffy.
Miyuki Saga pulled herself on shore next to her home, the forest. She took off her seal skin. She was glad that she still had on the clothes she did when she was a human last, a v-neck knitted Areopostale sweater, faded skinny jeans, and winter boots. She decided to hike around. Suddenly, she felt as if she was being watched.
She closed her book, then looked over the water and raised a hand as if to lead an orchastra. She started to move her hand around a little, and the water moved up and down, miroring her.
"Intriguing," Isis said, walking around the lake towards Saffy.
Miyuki felt a slight breeze. She decided to turn into a wolf, so she stripped (behind a tree) and put her clothes in a safe, dry place. Then the coldness made her morph. She thought of her friend, who had gone missing long ago. "when Snow melts, what does it become?" Her friend had asked her. "Spring!" He replied, making her smile. She missed those days so much.
Desalune dreaded to the edge of the forest. She noticed a peaceful looking lake with few people near it, so she went up and sat on the edge, sticking er bare feet in the icy cold water.
"Hello," Isis said, his mouth twitching in a miniscule smile. "That is an interesting talent."
The breeze grew stronger, stirring up the leaves around Miyuki. And then there was a rumbling noise, almost like a loud purr or a soft growl.
Desalune was watching and hearing everyone's conversations, and she could hear and almost see the smile in his voice... As if it was so rare that it was an almost tangible thing. She smiled brightly, testing it out. She didn't realize why no one was smiling at all.
Miyuki looked at the leaves and turned back into a human, in her clothes, of course. She looked around. "WHAT IS THIS?"
Nemesis suddenly sprouted wings and took to the air. ((Oh yeah forgot to post in charrie they can speak to each-other telepathically)) What? Fisk thought at her. People, she thought back.
she heard flapping and clutched her skin.
"The water. It is an intriguing talent." Isis brushed Aiya's wing feathers, attempting to calm her down.
Shadow had been sitting in the same dark ever green tree for the longest time. though to her, it seemed like a few moments. her eyes were glazed over as she stared into space. listening to the voices around her. there was a lack of emotion on her features.
Shadow's muscles were tense because of habit. she never rested. even now when she sat motionless, her senses were analyzing her surroundings.the other creatures around her were moving here and there. she didn't really care, but that didn't help her ignore their presence.
Miyuki ran into the forest. She tripped over a tree branch and looked up as she fell. She saw someone. "Ummm....hi?"
Shadow's eyes slid down to the creature who had tripped, her blue eyes fixed on the girl whiel her body was still under the dark blue, almost black cloak that she wore pinned to her shoulder. Shadow crocked one black brow, the only sign that she acknowledged Miyuki.
People? Fisk thought. Let's surprise them.Nemesis smiled evily in a way no flying horse should. She dived down, hitting the lake with an explosion.
Miyuki fulled out her own bow and arrows, and she tucked her seal skin in her bag.
Miyuki had no time for this. She Turned into a wolf and climbed up the tree.
Shadow noticed the clouds and she could feel the darkness creeping over the trees. She stayed where she was, unmoved. Shadow didn't take sides. she was what she was. She wondered if there would be another war, people paid her during wars to deliver messages to the enemy and back and forth...not that she needed money.
Omie looked up again, her heart beginning to pound a little faster. She began to run, she needed to get somewhere safe, and soon.
why did they fear this darkness. Shadow wondered. darkness was always a convenience to her, it was where she was hidden, unnoticed, and safe.
((Not really.))
Isis looked at the sky, then back at Sapphy. "We should probably leave now," he said, then took off for the forest, causing the plants to tuck themselves in so they were protected.

Shadow threw a look of annoyance towards the direction that Isis went as the leaves of the evergreen where she had taken solitary in whipped her in the face in fear.
Omie held up her arms and swung her self into the closest tree to watch the darkness. The air had gone extremely cold and the wind burned her face. She pulled herself close and leaned her head against the tree, waiting.
Isis noticed Shadow and reluctantly released the leaves so they hid her. He ran towards the deeper forest and stroked Aiya, who was starting to become severely agitated.
