Writerpedia discussion

I am 16, and writing my very first novel. Well, not really first. It the one I have been working on for five years now (since I was eleven!), and I keep getting stuck on how to create tension and motion, not only in the fighting sequences, but in more intimate scenes with the female and male protagonist. I always see it as forced, so I would really appreciate some advice! :)
