Hello everyone! If you are a Kindle user, or you have set up Kindle for your Mac or PC (which I'm pretty sure you can do for free, even if you don't own a kindle, just go to amazon.com) I found this amazing website that keeps track of free kindle books from Amazon!

I just wanted to share with you all! Maybe we'll find more free Amish fiction someday, that's how I got hooked!

Also, there is a free bible. I am kind of bummed because I just spent $9.99 on one back in July and it is cumbersome to navigate. This one sounds really easy! I grabbed it for free to try it!

Also, there was a really good one available on Friday. It is historical fiction but it is the beginning of a series that many people have talked about.

I grab all the freebies, except for erotica. You never know what new genre you can discover!!!

I think that maybe in a month or two we should nominate this book for a group read, and then all of us will have it for free, which is always great!

I was just so excited to see an Amish book that is on my wish list that was free that I had to share it with the group! LOL!

I have not read anything by her yet so I am up for reading it in the group read!

Sadly, I don't think the US Kindle Freebies are available to me across the pond! However, I am thinking about getting a Kindle around Christmastime because of all the ebooks I'm reading at the moment. It's only £109 now and my parents said they'll pay half as a Christmas present! :) So I'll have to see which ones are available in different countries and which ones are only free to the US.

I'd love to read this book though, it looks like it would be worth buying if we had it as a Group Read.

How exciting! Now everyone can get a chance to read Vanetta's amazing book! I just posted my review on Amazon so that others can see the good ratings it's getting and hopefully purchase it so the word gets spread around about what a wonderful book it is!

Hey Guys Almost Heaven by Chris Fabry is available as a free book on Amazon.com. Its a great story, not Amish but still a worthwhile read, I have a review of it on my blog tomorrow!

Thanks Diane, since I purchased my kindle in Oct. I have ammased about 150 books on it, most of them either being free books or review books!

I just found a whole bunch of Kindle freebies from Revell and Bethany House today. None of them are Amish but they're all Christian - good mixture of romance, historicals and mysteries. I'm not sure if this is only on the UK site or not - someone stateside want to check if you've got these freebies too? One of them was The Apothecary's Daughter by Julie Klassen

I tried the link but I got "Sorry, 'www.kindleiq.com' does not exist or is not available" but I did find www.ereaderiq.com

they actually recently changed from kindleiq to ereaderiq. it's the same people who run it, new site name.

Here's another one from last February, Talk of the Town by Lisa Wingate. It is Christian fiction and the story is similar to American Idol when the top 3 go home for a week from the producer's stand point. I read it and really enjoyed it! Here's the link:

I used Calibre to tranfer it into .mobi format so that I could read it on my Kindle, like I did with the books from NetGalley that you had to download to Adobe Digital Editions. Sometimes the formatting looks a bit weird but it's better than reading on my laptop! :)

Squee, they put all the Christian freebies on the UK website too so I get to join in with the excitement! :) So excited about Somewhere to Belong and She Walks in Beauty.

I just don't know when I'm going to read all of these books! I decided earlier this year that I'd stop buying books for my 2011-2012 school year in order to save some money towards the wedding so I may actually manage that with all these books on my Kindle!

I know! I love that I won't have to buy any books for a long time to come!

The She Walks in Beauty is free but when you click on it from here it takes you to the paperback version which threw me off the first 2 times till I looked at the version I was looking at.
