His short stories are amazing. My favorite is "Fall of the House of Usher" it is so trippy and creepy. The end is the best. Whenever I am in a bad place, I always think of this story and imagine (like, say, my place of employment) it being sucked into the ground b/c it's so evil. "The Raven" and "Tell Tale Heart" are pretty good, too.

Since they are so old, the copyright is expired and they are all over the internet. They are total classics and pretty quick reads.
"Fall of the House of Usher" is indeed a classic story, though I'm also a fan of "The Tell-Tale Heart" for its study of guilt.And few poems match "The Raven", which inspired the adversary in my novel, KING OF THE GREY. :)
