Who doesn't love a highlander! It's the accent for me, and the kilt! I've only read a few, but want to read more. Anybody have any suggestions?

I have not read any Julie Garwood, but have read the first 2 of Monica McCarty's, and have the third in my TBR pile - love them! I'll have to give Ms. Garwood a try! Thanks Xia!
Shell's Bells? Have you read Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series yet? She's an awesome writer as well!Oh and I think you might consider Lucy Monroe's hero's highlanders too but they're also werewolves.
I just finished Claimed by the Highlander series, and plan to finish that series. I had not heard of Monica McCarty before (but love Sarah McCarty, a great western erotic romance writer). When I checked reviews of Monica McCarty on GR, some were mixed. If I was going to start with one of her series, any recommendations on which one is best?

I just started
by Lucy Monroe. I like it so far. I don't have the first book in the series though.
Just finished Moon Craving. I love it. Now I really want to read Emily's and Lachlan's story. I have the third book, but don't know if I should read it yet until I get Moon Awakening.
I don't have the third book yet, but I want to get it. If you get a chance to read let me know how it is.
Oh cool! Thanks for the update Xia, I really liked the first book too so i really think you'll like that as well.Oh and speaking of highlanders, there's this other series that I've been reading by an author named Nina Bangs? The series is called The Mackenzie Vampires series.
I think they still might be considered Highlanders even though they're vampires. Anyway the series is really good so far so if you like highlanders and vampires then you might be into this series Xia.
First book in the series -
Second Book in the series -
Third book in series -
Fourth Book in the series -
It looks like there are only four books in the series right now Xia and I don't know how long the series is going to be but I think you might enjoy it.

and
by Monica McCarty, and I liked The Hawk better, but this is a series I think needs to be read in order, it's very interwoven.

I have heard great things about Karen Moning, will have to add her and Lucy Daniels as well to my ever growing TBR pile!
I really think you'll like Karen Moning's Highlander novels but I think they should definitely be read in order.I think this is the first one in the series, at least if I remember right!
I too love a good highlander story. Probably the first I ever read was by Kathleen Givens and it was called Kilgannon but The Wild Rose of Kilgannon is the first in this series. I have also been reading the Karen Marie Moning highlander series. Karen Hawkins has some good stories too. Even though Kerrelyn Sparks vampire series is not strickly about highlanders I just love her scottish vampires wearing their kilts and carrying their claymores to battle - it's a great series.
I have read all of Maya Banks highlander series and loved them! I also have read most of Janet Chapman's time traveling highlander series although most of the books are about the scots men being hurled forward in time from the 11th century to modern day..love them all but feel that it would be better to read them in order.
I love highlander books! But I read this one book a long time ago and I can't remember the name of it or the author. I have tried every thing to find it. Can any one help?!!!It starts off with the highlanders laird coming to wed his promised bride. he is to get her pregnant by a certain time or she can leave him and go back home. but the mother sneaks herbs in her bag that would prevent pregnacy. the highander takes her through a protal to get to his castle. for their traditions she must be aroused by other men in front of an audience and she is a virgin.
Theres a lot more but i cant remember. Please help!
