I read the first 2 in that series, I just couldn't get totally into them, although I did find then enjoyable at times! I just wanted Mac to "mac" on those boys! But she hasn't!! Does the following books get a little more sexual tension or some action??

There's not as much sexual tension/action as in KMM's Highlander series, but yes...the sexual tension does increase...especially in Dreamfever.

Love this series. One of my favorite series'.

Also another great series is the Darkest Series by Gena Showalter, The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter , this is the first book. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. Each book gets better with more twists and turns. Cant wait for the next book to be releast

Sophie (sophie714) | 21 comments currently reading the Lords of the Underworld series... found the first couple a bit of hard work to get through but think they are slowly improving. Have been told they get better and better the further u go into the series... is that right Pearl?

I do really enjoy the whole Greek Mythology behind it all... find that subject fascinating!

message 17: by Pearl Reads (new)

Pearl Reads (pearl24) Oh yes Sophie, each book builds more background, more drama, more gods and goddesses. The last one the Darkest Lie was my favorite (after I got use to writing style). It had me on an emotional roller coaster, so much emotion, and lies, and hard truths. Loved it. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Sophie (sophie714) | 21 comments Good stuff. Yeah I heard Darkest Lie was the best... will get there eventually ;)

I havent read Lords of Underworld yet are they good??

message 22: by Sophie (new)

Sophie (sophie714) | 21 comments hmmm. well the first couple of the series are a bit boring and hard to get through. Think I found it frustrating because i saw the potential that the series had... Have persisted tho as everyone that has read it has said that it gets better as u go along.. I am currently on The Darkest Pleasure... still a bit annoying but I do find that it is getting better, and the surrounding world/context is getting deeper and more elaborate.... Am going to continue with it, so my main comment for you, Fee is to not expect too much from the beginning of the series... I do throughly enjoy the Greek Mythological background tho :)

The above books also fit into different theme categories as there are Demons (Fallen Angels), and Vampires... You also get to meet Lucifer!
The concept is really interesting and believeable as to how the Demons, Angels, and Vampires are connected and created!!

message 28: by Ellison (new)

Ellison James | 9 comments If you like Richelle Mead's succubus series, but would like your demons just a little more realistic, terrifying, and seducing, then give my novel "Lovestruck Succubus" a try. Azra is a succubus demon that hates her plot in life. She desperately wants love and acceptance but all her relationships fail when she loses control, seduces her men, and kills them in her climax. That is, until she runs into Raif-the detective on her trail and trying to sift through all the bodies she leaving behind. When he proves too strong to succumb to her kind of love, they both enter into a relationship that could destroy them both.

Lovestruck Succubus by Ellison James

Availabe at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads, Smashwords, Diesel books, Apple i-books, Sony, and Kobo.
