((YAY. Heeeeere comes Caleb.))Caleb decided that the bracken was annoying. The thorns and scraping didn't bother him, but after the recent rain the branches were flinging moisture all over him. Rain didn't really annoy him, actually, but dampness certainly did. And these droplets were harbngers of dampness. They didn't help the condition of the heavy, humid air, either.
Mą'ii shouldered his pack and turned east along the forest trail. He turned his back on his camp site and his past, and started in to the next chapter of his life.
Tahnya flitted over the tree-tops in the form of a sparrow. She panick-chirped when she saw an eagle diving down at her at top speed. Ugh, I'm about to be eaten. She shifted into the form of a fly and darted into a hole in the trunk of a tree. Ha. Take that eagle! She winced as she saw the eagle trying to stick his head through the small hole. Tahnya shifted into a beetle and pinched the eagle's skin next to the beak, and it went flying away.
Mą'ii Whistled a reel as he walked along the path. An eagle shadow passed over him and he nodded in respect to the bird.
((Meh. Actually, bye Caleb. I'm bringing in someone new for this rp. *Skips off to the bucket o' charries*))
((Alright, the deed is done. Here we go.))Blue heard some whistling as she went clumsily through the forest, noting the lack of a path as she tripped over a root and barely managed to keep from falling. It didn't help that she was half asleep - the storm had kept her awake all night. She hadn't wanted to go to sleep when she could listen to the thunder instead.
There was a brief whispering sound and Mą'ii turned and looked through the woods. He saw the being's energy, and instantly concealed himself until he decided what to do about the person.
Blue scowled at the ground and stopped for a minute to stop her blunder, which was only worsened by momentum. She picked up the pace after that, trying to be agile as she stepped over roots and managed not to fall. Something solid stopped her path, though, when she ran into it. She stepped back, rubbing her forehead where it had whacked into something, and glared at whatever tree had impeded her path. The only problem was that there was nothing there that she could see.
The patterns on the metal that flowed under his skin disappeaared and Mą'ii became visible as he looked at the newcomer, or rather at her hair. He instantly flipped backwards to clear space between them.
"Wow, you were standing right there. And I couldn't see you." She made an annoyed face, disliking the idea that anyone could be watching her when she couldn't even see them. It was making her jumpy already. "But I'll be civilized anyway. Hi, I'm Blue."
Mą'ii arched an eyebrow at her, then burst out laughing. Once he had caught his breath he turned to her and replied. "Says the pot to the kettle." He turned and sprinted along the trail before leaping into the trees andleaping from branch to branch. he stopped and swung down by one arm to face her a he hung there. "Nice hair." He called in a voice devoid of mocking tones. Then he switched hands and turned then swung himself back in to the trees and kept moving towards the next town.
"I know," Blue said to no one, grinning. It was no surprise that everyone she met went straight for the hair. It couldn't be ignored.
"For the ground, if I trip over one more root," Blue replied, wondering if he had seen her clumsy trip through the forest.
Mą'ii laughed again, then dropped to the ground and placed his hand aagainst the dirt of the trail. The ground seemed to ripple then it went as smooth as glass with a black coloring. "Won't trip now." He said knowing that his metal would be able to move with her to keep things smooth.
"Woah." She stared at the smooth, shiny road. That was incredibly weird, just like this guy. "That's pretty damn awesome," she commented. "Thanks."
"Not the ground anymore," she supplied helpfully before actually answering. "Nowhere in particular, really. I have no plans."
"Let me try this," Blue said, sticking her tongue out in concentration as she whirled across the forest foor, finding the smooth black glass always there under her feet. "Wow. You weren't lying."
Tasuke walked through the trees looking out for strangers. He continued creeping through the trees when he saw two people standing in the middle of forest. "Hmm..." he muttered. He couldn't decided weather to attack or pass by. He decided attack and advanced on the strangers.
Aurun ran through the forest, her breath was heavy, and she could see it coming out of her mouth in small, white clouds. She glanced behind her to make sure she had lost the Trackers.
"I don't plan to do anything, but if you're inviting, then sure." She looked forlornly at the ground; she wanted her fancy gliding floor back.
Mą'ii felt the newcomers heading their way, and could see their energy. the metal which sat against his chest in the form of a chain necklace hissed quietly at the agression that it sensed in one. Mą'ii readied himself for the coming attack.
Aurun gasped in pain a something seemed to bite her thigh. She stopped for a split second and reached down to feel the wound. When she looked up at her hand again, she cursed silently to herself. It was bleeding heavily. But she continued onward, despite the pain.
"What, what?" Blue whirled at his tense stance, stiffening her own muscles and adopting a half-snarl. She pulled her bow out swiftly, notching an arrow. When it came to her weapon, she was the opposite of her clumsy trek through the woods.
