Im doing a story about four friends who are gifted with their own powers and become witches. i already have some names down. do you have any suggestions or comments?:::
(p.s. im trying to corraspond their names to the meaning)

#1 Alex (meaning protector)
#2 Alika (meaning truthful)
#3 Willow (meaning symbol of healing)
#4 Alison (meaning light of the son)
#5 Shimmer (meaning shining light)
#6 Nicole (meaning having victory over people)
#7 Deva (meaning divine, shining one)

the one im having real trouble with is between the two names WILLOW & SHIMMER & ALISON i only want to pick one or the other because they sound to similar....

perhaps give alex, alika and alison did't names. unless they are all related to each other maybe all 3 of them shouldn't each have a name starting with the letter a. too close

Really? Because I don't think they sound too similar at all. All the names seem to fit though. Alika is such a cool name :)

i mean that they all begin with an al. yes alika is cool. otherwise...or at least spell them in a different way like alison as alyson or alysson? alika as aleeka?

i just found of alika is a hawaii name for alex..and since alika sounded cooler i picked that..

sounds good. man i just remembered that i had a good friend in high school named lika and ya..she was hawaiin. hehe go figure

ALIKA: *black/straight/long-past the shoulder hair
* emerald green eyes

NICOLE: * chocolate brown/shoulder length hair
* hazel eyes
*tan skin

APRIL: * white blond/elbow length/ curly hair
* big puppy dog blue eyes
JADE: wazy brownish-redish hair w/ straight across the face bangs.
* dark green eyes. (change color from fark to light green)

i just thought of something i think the name alika would be weird because if you say "i like alika" out loud it sounds like alikalika lol im changing it too alex..
