Elementals! discussion

I finally caved in and made this because I think we need it. This is all about the fifth element, weather it exists, what it is, etc.

Alex posted this in another folder and I thought it was noteworthy:

I replied with a quote of something I had posted somewhere else. Me~ Each element is special and individual. for instance, if there are two things in this world, matter and energy, then we have four categories, since there are three types of matter:
Solid>Earth, Liquid>Water, Gas>Air, Energy>Fire.

I think that's poo. Or bull poo. BP.

So. if there had to be ONLY five elements wood they b; fire earth water air time? (as in past and future seers as mentioned b4)

Well isabel would say not to add a fifth one... i say we shud have like 10 elements!! LOL but the whole types of matter thing isnt always true b/c water is not always a liquid (ice) and earth is not always a solid. *pulls out blender*

haha, oh ya! topic... hmmm... im gonna start *something* with isabel!
your aura is the energy from your soul. this statement is highly likely, yet not proven. ha. :) also, time could count as an element. the past element bender could bend (copy) the tragedy, or love, or 'the second joanna of and irish family will get married with an american that was born in hawaii' and paste its 'story' into the future. now wat i need to decide is weather that should be one 'time'/past & future element, or if that wood b too powerful and if so, wat wood future so? changing the past is not future stuff and is wayyy to powerful for any element...

no, think of what bending is (moving stuff) time is the fourth dimension and you can't bend a dimension on principal.

also it is way too powerful

ur 'moving' the time, and all time can do is copy the stories and paste them in a diff time in the future, so wat if in a story it was someone who was locked away (by their choise) somewhere and just 'keep the balance' of time??? :DD

that is inter-dimensional bending and it doesn't exist (in a pseudo-reality sense) because it would (theoretically) open a hole in the fabric of space/time.

that was soooooo stupid and unfair^(3/5). it seems horrible /ridiculer now. people will look back 100+ years from now at the "don't ask don't tell" and prop 8 with the same feeling.

I wrote a speech about how wrong prop 8 was (note no!!!!!!!!) (but they already voted) and i will stick up 4 gay/lesbian people but I am not lesbian, i just think that it is wrong to restrict them, even if it is weird.

I like gay people. My cousin, when he used to be gay, took me shopping EVERY weekend! :D Gay peeps rock.

The fifth element? Spirit. Dur haha. THey have the ability to bring people back from the dead... they have marks on their faces... they loose control and can rip the souls out of people... they have to take people's souls to survive...

Er... it doesnt. It's special haha. Spirit is... a counter to itself. THey loose control, and there are Good Spirits and Bad Spirits. Bad- they use their powers for EVIL! Good- well, you get it.

no, people think that spirit is the fifth element because it is completed by all of the others.

interesting, but i still think there should be something to counter it... like shadow? or light? or dark? (darkness maybe)
