OK, so I'm working on this novel and i need to name this "thing" - i can explain what that "thing" does it manipulates peoples dreams and brings them into reality for ex: suppose I'm scared of pencils, so this "nameless thing" comes and puts me in a dreaming state where I'm getting stabbed with pencils, or even worse

so its like this spirit thing-->> which i can't name so any help/ideas would be great

Abbadon? I know that's the name for the demon of fear. I'll do some more research this afternoon when I find the time so I can come up with more names for you.
