This is random, but what time is it wherever you are? I'm in Georgia, and it's 1:33 pm.

im in grand rapids michigan and it is 1:40 pm

no, we're only allowed to hurt each other a little. i mean, boys get kicked in "that place" and we all get knocked around a little, but it's easier to endure once you've been hit a couple of times. KARATE MAKES YOU TOUGH! AND WHO SAYS NERDS CAN'T BE TOUGH?

Actually, I'm a huge nerd. But maybe I can kick ass with some karate. You don't have to have, like, a lot of hand-eye coordination, do you? Because I lack that on a massive level.

and yes, you do need hand-eye coordination. you can't just flap your arms and hope you hit something. you need balance too. (i love bragging.)

Well, crap. I'm outta luck there. It's a good thing I'm so vertically challenged...and closer to the ground...or I'd have more bruises than I already do. If you need more evidence...read my "Bruised Banner Thinks Rolly Chairs Are Evil"...which, by the way, they *totally* are. :P

Ah, I'll have to disagree with Donatello. You don't have to have any kind of hand-eye coordination or balance when you start. That's what you're their to learn, you know. I'll tell you, I sucked so completly when I started, you wouldn't believe. I had neither coordination, nor balance. I'm still retarded with a ball, but at least I can kcik some serious butt after the game.

Well, when I got my BBA, my husband bought me a Glock, so I generally have that with me.

Unless some attacker is wicked fast, he won't be able to stop a bullet :P.

But I do still think learning karate would be fun.

It is! It's not just about defending yourself, it's about finding yourself. Like, did you ever see that movie; The Karate kid? It's really cheesy, but this one guy says; "Karate is in everything you do", and he is right. You kinda come to termes with some stuff, at least I do. Plus, the fact that you can defend yourself in just about any situation, makes one braver.

I'll have to watch that movie. I haven't seen it...either version.

I just looked up Angelfire, and it looks like it's going to be so good...but it is the first in another series :P. I just can't even pick up a book anymore without finding out it's part of a series. :) But, it's okay, because I've accepted my addiction :P.

Hm...I've read Eragon. I have Eldest, but I haven't read it yet. I haven't heard of Demonata. Harry Potter is a favorite of mine. I haven't read much of Maximum Ride, but I've heard they're good.
