Here you can find all (registered) OBCZ in the world

http://www.wikihost.org/w/obcz/

help to get all OBCZ listed.

Cheryl (cherylllr) http://homepage.mac.com/pachydomo/OBC...

pachydomo's place obcz finder does the same thing

I don't want to learn how to do a wiki entry but if you want me to email the details of my OBCZ to you or some other editor, just PM me.

Thanks for the info, Feodora. I've gone in and edited the information for the HiPoint OBCZ in Reno, NV. I like the pachydomo site, but any "advertising" is useful!

The problem is that there where often problems with the pachydome site and it was long time offline.

I can add OBCZs in the wiki fo anyone pm me the details.
Country; County; City; OBCZ The adresse; website; opening ours or whatever is special about the place.

Anna (aetm) | 45 comments The pachydomo is brilliant - but the problem is that so many of the OBCZs that are listed aren't there any more, and there are new ones that aren't there. So at least the wiki one has the potential for being more up to date (especially once it becomes more known in BC).
I've added a few, and will add a few more in the next few days.
Just as an example, pachydomo lists a bunch for Austin - but currently there is only one place where the shelf is free for BC use.

Cheryl (cherylllr) I sent you the details for my OBCZ in Carson City, NV. Thank you!

message 7: by Yvensong (new)

Yvensong | 11 comments Pachydomo has gotten a bit backlogged, and he's been working to catch up, but it's a big job for one person to do. Wiki does have the advantage that lots of people can help keep the sites listed up to date.

Thanks to any and all of you that have started this up!

Bookguide | 46 comments The link to the wiki tells me the page does not yet exist. Any ideas?

This works:
http://www.wikihost.org/w/obcz/gebo/a...

You can also search but it looks like the home page isn't working.

message 12: by Amy (new)

Amy (bookczuk) | 97 comments The site is planning eventually to incorporate the OBCZ list there, so people don't have to go off-site to look. The problem with any OBCZ list is that it's up to members to keep things up to date. (People forget that the Official in OBCZ is not that related to the BookCrossing site itself, but to the commitment a member or members make with a specific manager or business to keep books there.)

This link works OK: http://www.wikihost.org/w/obcz/gebo/a...

If you don't see anything when you get there, try clicking on List All.

I disagree, they are the same. If you click on both it's the same. Judy's ends in allpages as well.

Amy (bookczuk) | 97 comments Okay. For me I got two different pages. They all eventually lead to the same spot, but the initial landing that I got were different urls. (And notably, different urls from where I land if I click the link in the BookCrossing OBCZ Managers Forum.)

It may have something to do with cookies set on your computere (or mine).

Judy (judygreeneyes) | 145 comments Hey, is it too much to believe that I'm just special???? It's not the cookies or the computer, it is just Judy's magic touch????? Frankly, I'm insulted you guys didn't even consider it.

That was a given, silly goose.

Melissa (mrsmelissa) | 22 comments Ummm...

Middle East is not even listed LOL
How can I advise the site? Any suggestions?

message 22: by Amy (new)

Amy (bookczuk) | 97 comments In the intro to the OBCZ Manager's forum there is a reference to the OBCZ-wiki being started by carnelian-rune. I would contact her, not BookCrossing, as the OBCZ-wiki is hers, member generated. If you need a zone marked on the Go Hunting page, then that would be support.

Amy (bookczuk) | 97 comments Apologies for transgendering him. I know a woman named Carnelian. She has a twin brother named Sard.

Their parents were amateur gemologists, both with red hair, who were banking on the twins being red-headed, too, apparently.
