I really enjoyed the Mortal Instruments trilogy. Cassandra Clare is adding to it and she has released a "prequel" Clockwork Angel. If you are looking for angel stories i recommend you start there. :)
Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh (not y/a, but a unique world where angels and vampires coexist with humans)Falling From Grace - S.L. Naeole (y/a series with a somewhat whiny protagonist; but if you can get beyond her 'woe is me attitude', it's a good series.
If you want YA fallen angels then :
Hush, Hush is better than Fallen, but Torment (book 2) is on par with Crescendo (book 2 of Hush, Hush).
If you want a good YA series overall that has part angels in it (nephilim), then I'd second Mortal Instruments.

Me too :)
I am reading crescendo right now and I have a question? Does anyone remember why the bad guys were trying to kill Nora in Hush Hush? I can't even remember if they were angels or not? Thanks

The bad guy (Chauncey/Jules) in Hush,Hush is trying to kill Nora because so that he no longer has to let Patch take over his human body once a year and Patch was going to kill her in the beginning because he thought it would make him human.
Hpoe that helps!

"I agree with your comments completely. I also think Hush Hush is much better than Fallen; although Torment recitfied a few irritating issues in Fallen. Just halfway through Crecendo at the mo.
Still a good read.
I would have to say Mortal Instruments, Cassandra Clare has created one of the most amazing worlds and i cant wait for her next book. She is the only person who has (in my opinion) come any where near the genius of J.K. Rowling.
I also recommend the Mortal Instruments series. I checked all three out from the library, and couldn't put them down the entire weekend.
I REALLY recommend
!!!!!!!!! I LOVED this book! I wish there were more like it! I think you will definatley love this book if you loved the Hush Hush series as I did!! Let me know if you enjoy it! Or what you didn't enjoy!! Also The next in the series
comes out in July!
MI books and also, Fallen (I didn't really like these books, but a lot of my friends do...)But Mortal instruments, definetely. They are one of my favourite series ever!!!
Angelology by Danielle Trussoni, Book of Love by Abra Ebner, Meridian by Amber Kizer, Angel by L. A. Weatherly, Halo by Alexandra Adornetto, & Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz are some that I know of. :) I hope you find one to read! If you do, let us know what it is & how it turns out!
I too really loved Hush, Hush. I read it in 2 sittings!. Although both me and my husband were disappointed with the 2nd book Cresendo. I hope the 3rd book will be better. I agree with the recommendations of The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, I read all three books within a week or two, very good. While not about angels, I would recommend the following sets of books: Maggie Stiefvater has a trilogy: Shiver, Linger, Forever (due out next year). This one is about wolves. I really liked this series. A bit too poetic at times (which is not me), but overall I couldn't put them down. The author has another series, the first one called Lament, the second book I'm now reading called Ballad. This set is about Faeries. Another series of books I liked is by Claudia Gray: Evernight, Stargazer, Hourglass, and Afterlife (not out yet). The third book disappointed me a bit, so I'm glad there is a 4th book coming out, hopefully she'll tie things together and make me happy. Evernight is vampire stuff. Another series I liked is by Alyson Noel, the series is called The Immortals. The first book Evermore I really really liked. The 2nd book Bluemoon - while not as good as the 1st was still good. the 3rd book Shadowland started to go downhill, and I haven't read the 4th and 5th books yet. Hope you like them!
How about more indie authors like:To Kill a Warlock by HP Mallory, The Ghost Hunter by Lori Brighton, or Kait Nolan's Forsaken By Shadow (more urban fantasy, has romance elements though).
And Felicity E. Heaton writes a lot of angel romance stories.
I'm actually running a giveaway for The Ghost Hunter which I mentioned above. It's a a fun spooky paranormal romance.
