I am very sad. Their friendship was never the same, ever ever ever, and like you said they were perfect BFFs.
I know!! *sniff sniff* Scott is so cruel.
well guys, u gotta figure. if u and ur best frend were gonna run off to someplace, and ur frend winped outon you and you went anyway, and then you met a guy and fell in love, and then ur frend shows up and kinda steals the guy away from you, and then said friend decides to btray you all to your sworn enemies, you'd probably hate your friend too. i cant truly blame Shay for her feelings.
I guess...but why couldn't Shay listen to Tally when she told her that she was manipulated into betraying the Smokies? And Scott is cruel for making Tally betray the Smokies, therefore ending Shay's and her friendship!!
It was cruel but also brilliant from a writer's point of view... think about it. it can't be all happy ending, good things. and everything was going way to good for tally
From a writer's point of view, it's brilliant. From a reader's point of view, it's cruel. Since I'm both then it's both for me XD
btw, i actually have someone in my family named shea, pronounced shay.

hm...she started annoying me when tally went to the smoke and started hanging with david.
it's like, get over it! tally's your best friend. you shouldn't let your boyfriend get in between her.

i don't really have a problem with shay. I don't really think she's insane. I mean it's not like she's just some emo person. If i were in her situation and figured out that the only way to keep my mind functioning normal was to hurt myself a bit every once in a while, i'd do it. I value my ability to think more than a little pain. I guess that big ceremony was a little unnecessary but still...she was just a little desperate. Especially since tally was getting out but she wouldn't help shay or tell her anything. i think she should have helped shay out more before shay started being weird.

shay is cool, but i didnt like her in the smoke. she was too needy and clinging on david too much in the smoke. it annoyed me.and then in pretties that whole ceremony thing was pretty creepy, but cool, u know?

i know that, but it some points in the book (in the smoke for example?) shay was a bit annoying! she was waaaaay to clingy on david, and waaaay to jealous of tally. and then when she was cutting herself the ceremony was kinda weird. thats all i said about her! god ur way to defensive about her! lol

Just wondering, 'cuz I like them the same. Except when Shay is acting all stupid, then I like Tally better.
Tally because Shay was awesome at first, but after the Smoke, when she turned pretty, I really didn't like Shay anymore. At the end of PRETTIES, she really sort of turned on Tally, in some way, a little. In SPECIALS I wondered if she'd come out -@ the end to David and Tally's "New Smoke". She did and it shows that in EXTRAS, in EXTRAS Shay is a lot closer to the Shay the books began with.
And even when they were both Special, they were never truly friends.
Is anyone else sad about that?
