One thing I often here from readers is that they wish they had a map of the Niagara River while they were reading The Day the Falls Stood Still. There is a great interactive map on my website. Encouraging readers to take a peek. http://cathymariebuchanan.com/interac...

Q&A: http://cathymariebuchanan.com/reading... (Question 3 contains a bit of a SPOILER so beware.)

What is the best balance between progress and nature? We have to face that question all the time. We need nature to restore our souls and keep us in touch with the natural rhythms of life. On the other had I love my electricity.

Thanks. I wanted to portray a real marriage, one with conflict, such the Bess's and Tom's differing opinions about hydroelectricity and also there roots in different classes.
