"May?"
"What?"
Jared knocked on the door to his sister's bedroom. "Hey."
"Whatever it is, the answer is no." May said without looking up. Jared frowned.
"Fine." He left and went downstairs. May shook her head.

Damien tugged back on the leash. Why his dad would want to buy a rotweiler was beyond him... And, of course, Damien had to take care of it. Stupid dad, being busy with his new girlfriend.
Suddenly the dog tugged on the chain so hard Damien lost his grip. The dog chased after something, leaving Damien to run after it, trying to catch the chain.

Damien stopped and saw who it was. "Yes. Please. This dog hates me."

Marianne knocked gently on the door to Achelle's room. "Achelle?" She asked gently. "School is going to start soon."
"I'm getting ready. I'll be right out." Achelle's annoyed voice answered.
"Okay, hurry. Oh, and Achelle?"
"What."
"Um, may I drive?"
Achelle opened the door, her makeup half done. "Do you ever drive?"
"No." The door closed again.
"There's your answer."

May finished up her calculus and looked at the clock. Shoot. She was going to be late again. She threw on a tank top and shorts, shoving her books into her bag and pulling on her converse.

Damien took off after them both, whistling for the dog. They finally caught up to it sniffing around a bush and growling.

Marianne waited patiently for Achelle to finish getting ready. Achelle grabbed the keys off the counter without bothering with breakfast, and got in the car, waiting for Marianne to get in.

"Jared! Time to go!" May called. "Is dad here?"
"He left an hour ago."
"Oh. Kay. Let's go then." She grabbed her backpack and headed to the bus stop.

"Unfortunately." He grabbed the chain and started dragging the mutt back towards his place.

((Oh hey sorry. I just took forever writing that so didn't see your post. We'll just pretend Marianne and Achelle drove themselves and May and Jared got in the car.))

May tilted her head to the side, looking at Becca. "Are you new or something?" She asked.

Achelle tapped her fingers on the steering wheel while she waited for her twin. Finally Marianne got in the car and Achelle started driving.

May grinned. "May."
"Johanson." Jared added.

Jared laughed. "No, that's our last name. I'm Jared."

Jared nodded. "When did you move in?"

"Connecticut sounds like fun," May said as they got out. "You should come over sometime and you can tell me more about it."

Achelle and Marianne arrived at school, Achelle getting out of the parking lot and away from Marianne as quickly as possible.

Damien got off the bus-his dad wouldn't let him take the car-and trudged into school.

May nodded. "Of course. Thanks Freckles." She added.

((Is Jake new too?))

May shrugged. "Sure. I'll show you around." She elbowed Jared in the ribs. "You. Go... Do whatever it is guys do."
Jared ruffled her hair. "Fine." He walked off.

Achelle hurried in the building, leaving Marianne to lag behind. Marianne started after her sister, then stopped. In front of her was a very attractive man.

((Oh no, no worries. Just wondered if I should recognize him or not.))

May shrugged. "He's alright."

Achelle shrugged. "No worries."
Marianne stood there, frozen, until Achelle took pity on her, grabbed her arm, and yanked her back to reality. "Oh, sorry. My bad." She smiled sweetly at him.

"Room 302." Achelle said. "I could show you."
"Chelles, can I?" Marianne asked. Achelle rolled her eyes.

May narrowed her eyes. She knew that look. Helena and her had been friends for ages.

May shrugged. "The usual. Homework and football." Then she turned to Becca. "No, I'll show you. Helena and Frelken can talk." She shot Helena a look.

Achelle rolled her eyes. "Fine." Marianne held in a squeal.

May shrugged. "It's no big deal." She grabbed Becca's arm and led her the right way.

"Achelle." She said the same time Marianne said her name.

"Achelle." Achelle repeated. "And Marianne."

May smiled. "Helena's interesting, huh."

Damien hurried to his class, trying not to be late.

Damien rolled his eyes. Of course. Colby did that to every single girl they ever passed. But hey. They were pretty cute.

"She'll get over it, don't worry." May answered.

Achelle waved and waited until Jake was out of sight before she elbowed Marianne and stalked off. Marianne sighed and went to her own class.

Achelle went to her own class, sitting down in the back like usual.

Marianne cheerily walked to her own class, sitting up front.

((Doesn't matter.))

Marianne saw someone jerk up out of her peripheral vision and gave a friendly wave, then went and sat by her for good measure.

Achelle got out her notebook and immediately started drawing zombies on the cover.

Marianne took notes.

Achelle noticed Helena watching her and grinned.

Jessica leaned against a wall to fix her high heels.

Reigna walked outside in the fresh air, she smiled and smelled the Lilac's on her front yard. She picked one and studied it, she giggled to herself then threw it on the lawn and started to walk down the street. She grabbed her iPod out of her pocket and put in her ear phones into her ears and started the music, she started to dance down the street and singing out to the music she was listening too. She was really good, but even then everyone stared at her like she was mental. She didn't care though, she didn't really care what other people thought about her so she just kept dancing and singing.

Rain saw her friends down at the store she was suppose to meet them at, she ran towards her best friend and jumped onto her laughing "I MISSSSSSSSSSSSED YOU!" She yelled. Her best friend laughed and hugged her tightly, "I missed you toooooooooo!" She smiled and put her down but after one of the guy's took a picture. Rain laughed and got down, she looked around then her eyes locked on the candy store "I HAVE to go to that store!" She squealed and ran towards the store. Her friend's followed and they bought a whole shit load of candy starting with twizzlers and ending with gigantic jaw breakers.

Reigna walked back out of the store with her friend's and walked down to the shore sitting down and eating her candy. They all talked and laughed with each other then something caught Rain's eyes, she stood up and went over to it. It was a little ring that was engraved and it said: To my Dearest Love. She picked it up and examined it than took it back over to her friend's and they told her to keep it so she did, she poured one of her friend's water bottle over it and then put it on smiling at how good it made her look.

Reigna examined the ring some more than stuffed her hands inside her pockets and started to sing along to the song that her friend put on from her iPod. The rest of them joined in, all of them were really good.

Reigna quickly shoved it off her finger in her pocket than took it out, "Then I believe this gorgeous thing is for you" She smiled and handed it to Lily, "Your a really lucky girl to have a Boyfriend that cares about you so much" She said thoughtfully

Rain went back to singing with her friends, people started to gather around as she sang a solo piece. She was a bit embarrassed at first with people watching her for Entertainment but than didn't mind it as much, people started to give them money and they weren't cheap with it either.

Reigna didn't really appreciate with the spillage of Resse's Piece's in there hard earned money but didn't say anything, she was too nice to say anything anyways. She joined a duet with Lily, there voices clashing perfectly with each other.

Than Reigna's friends started to harmonize with them and they all sounded amazing. It felt nice to sing with her friends and people watching them, Rain loved it.

When the song was over everyone clapped and asked for an encore. Rain smiled and put on one of her favourite songs: Everytime we touch by Cascada

Rain started to sing and everyone listened quietly, she looked over at Lily then back at the crowd, concentrating very hard.

Rain started to sing louder, this girl was kind of driving the attention away from her and she wasn't too happy about it. She was very competitive and she didn't like competition.

Rain started to quiet down too, she didn't want to strain out her voice. She needed it! She finished the song and bowed when everybody clapped. She looked over at Lily briefly then sat down beside her friends talking quietly

Reigna stared at the money that McKenzie had just given her, she shoved it back to her "I can't take this, it's too much money" She said having a worried look on her face.

Reigna stared at McKenzie then looked at Steven, "Are you okay?" She asked him, "And I didn't take the money...."

Rain didn't want to ask, she didn't want to be involved, "Well, um I'm just gonna go" She said walking back over to her friends

Rain kept looking back at Lily and Steven, when her friends and her were about to leave she wanted to go dip her feet into the Ocean

Rain looked over at Lily as she dipped her feet into the Ocean, "Just dipping my feet!" She shouted back to her

Reigna kinda felt awkward as she didn't know these two people, she just kept her eyes out staring at the beautiful Ocean.

Rain quickly grabbed the ring and handed it back to Lily, she then continued to look out at the gorgeous Ocean.

"Reigna" She replied, "Yours?"

"Nice to meet you two" She said

"Well, I should probably go meet up with my friend's" Rain said

Reigna didn't respond just kept walking

Rain yawned and just decided to walk home and eat dinner

Achelle looked at it and almost laughed out loud.

Marianne noticed the girl next to her copying her notes and sighed inwardly, but did nothing about it.

Damien grabbed his arm. "Dude. You're not seriously going to go talk to them, are you? That's May. May. You know, the one who could beat you up if her brother didn't?"

May looked over Becca's shoulder and groaned. "Oh dear. Colby."
