Sci-Fi Romance discussion

So how is everyone liking this? I might not find time to read this this month, but it looks good! What do you guys think? I've noticed that SFR has grown as it's more welcome these days. Does this novel feel more "dated"?

It was written in 2002 so they do talk about 9-11. That's about the only thing that dates the book. Otherwise, I found it a nice SFR book.

I didn't feel it was dated. I enjoyed the story very much.
