((No, it's the same as number one. Just at a different time. #1 is a year after the hit, #2 is when it started. Eventually they meet up, :P))
Omie sat on her bed, reading her book. The room was silent and her lamp only light a small area, leaving darkness to gather around her.
((ohhh, ok, thanks)) Max grabbed her gray coat from its hanger by the door and slipped it on. She grabbed her gloves and wandered outside into the snow.
Valentine walked around outside in the cold. She had on her black jacket, boots and her leather gloves. She let the cool air nip at her face. It made her want to go inside but the wind seemed somehow refreshing.
Kaine blinked his eyes open, startling as he woke and saw the dull sky above instead of a ceiling. It wasn't snowing anymore, but he was dusted with a layer of fine white powder that was rapidly melting because of his body heat. "Damn," he muttered. "I must look like I'm homeless," he said, sitting up and placing his hands on the frozen earth that surrounded the tree he had fallen asleep underneath. "And that I'm insane, since I apparently talk to myself now." This was what he got for being intrigued enough by the snow last night to venture out at midnight to explore the park. He should have known better than to trust his body not to fall asleep at that hour. Good thing he had been dressed warmly.
Max stopped in front of a coffee shop. She opened the door and listened to the bell above her head jingle.
Omie sighed and closed her book. The end. She got up and walked to the kitchen, extracting a glass from the cabinet and poring herself a glass of milk.
Omie sighed. Sitting on her stool. It was quiet and she was bored. Everyone of her friends were off at a party, getting drunk. But that just wasn't her. She had graduated early from high-school, almost 18 and in her own apartment. She picked up the phone and dialed. No answer, just voice mail. She thought she would call her house, talk to her mom, tell her how much she missed home. But instead, she hung up the phone sat in the kitchen alone.
Ciemra walked into the party people from her school were having. When she saw the drinks she left. She may have been popular but she didn't drink. She drove home and sat down on her bed and turned on her music.
Kaine stood with a disgruntled expression, hoping no one had seen. Only then did he realize that he had nowhere to really go. Unless he wanted to go back home to his empty apartment, which was sure to be boring. Somehow he just didn't feel like sitting alone and drumming to himself and the walls. Of course, the whole band was gone...at that party! That's what was supposed to happen today. Damn, damn, damn. And he was missing it by now, surely. He suddenly wished he had a watch, but of course, he didn't. He headed back to his apartment to change even though he would probably be late to arrive, judging by the darkness in the sky.
Her apartment room was on the 5th floor and her loud music blasted into the rooms above, beside, and below her. She had a feeling she would get calls from angry people soon.
Kaine sprinted through his apartment, grabbing things and hurriedly getting ready to avoid getting chewed out by the guys. But then very loud music began to blast through the apartment, shaking things, and he couldn't help but grin. He half-considered meeting the music with his own drums but quickly realized that was stupid and that he was already late as it was.
Ciemra stopped her music and walked out of her apartment. She walked out of the building and sat on the steps of it. She was bored.
((Ahhh...last post was supposed to be Kaine, not Kyou. STUPID K CHARACTERS. *Fume*))Kaine ran past some girl on the steps and practically ninja'd into his car in his haste. His phone, which was lying in the passenger's seat, confirmed the time and his fears that the guys were already mad at him for being late. Four angry messages. Ouch.
"Hey!" Ciemra called out to him. He had hit her with his jacket and it had hurt. "Where are you off to so fast Jerk?" She yelled at him.
Kaine stuck his head out the window, confused and losing his crap-better-run-or-die face for one of innocent bewilderment. "What?" He asked, noticing that the girl on the stairs was the one yelling and looking generally furious.
"You hit me! Where are you going anyways that you have to hit everyone you pass?" Ciemra yelled. She had never seen this guy before.
"How did I hit you?" Kaine asked. You'd that he would be annoyed in a situation like this, pressed for time and stopped by a rampaging female, but he never got annoyed that easily. Plus, he was too confused to feel anything but confusion.
Omie sighed again. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooored. She grabbed her jacket and made her way out of the apartment, she should at least go somewhere.
"Where are you hurrying off to?" Ciemra asked again. She turned around suddenly as she heard the door open. "Oh look, a new person."
Omie strutted down the sidewalk, listening to the busy night. ((They are in the city, right?)) She glanced to the side at a man, and the to the other, a women. Arguing. Momentarily distracted she tripped on the slushy snow and fell to the ground. Landing on her knee, "F**k!" She yelled out, rolling over, her leg grasped tightly.
((:D))
((:D))
((Yes? I WAS WATCHING SAGWA!!! You know that little kid cat show. I used to love that show so I decided i would watch it again. I still love it. Especially the fat guy who eats noodles.))
((XD I do know the show you're talking about.))"A party," Kaine began when he saw a girl glance at him and Ciemra and then successfully introduce her cheek to the snow. He watched her and her sarcasm with raised eyebrows.
Amburger wrote: "" um are you okay?" Ciemra asked the other girl who just walked out."
Madhins wrote: "Omie glared up at Ciemra, "No I'm perfectly fine." She said sarcastically."
Omie turned from Ciemra to Kaine with an annoyed look.
Madhins wrote: "Omie glared up at Ciemra, "No I'm perfectly fine." She said sarcastically."
Omie turned from Ciemra to Kaine with an annoyed look.
"Well forgive me. Sometimes people don't want help after they injure themselves." Ciemra retorted. She had seen this girl before in the halls of her school. This was one of the girls that graduated early. Nerd.
((I edited the post, Madhins, if you think he asked how she was. 'Cause that would just be repetitive. :P Just to let ya' know.))Kaine put his hands up innocently. "What? I'm just sitting in my car here watching you fall down. I didn't do anything."
"I was just at a party." Ciemra said to Kaine. "I left. I didn't like the music. It wasn't rockish enough."
Kaine turned towards Ciemra. "Ah, see, that's where I come in. My, er, Jacob's band," he decided that maybe if he gave credit to Jacob he wouldn't rip his head off for arriving late, "is playing at a party tonight, and it's probably the same one. We're gonna be there to make it better." He grinned. Then he looked back at Omie. "Painful first introduction for face and ground, huh?"
"So better music their huh?" Ciemra asked. " Mind if I come along with you. And her if she wants." She pointed to Omie.
Kaine shrugged. "Sure, if you want. I don't know if our new friend wants to come, though." He leaned across the seat to open up the passenger door.((Make her come, Madhins! Then their whole meeting would make sense! :D))
Amburger wrote: ""So better music their huh?" Akira asked. " Mind if I come along with you. And her if she wants." She pointed to Omie."
((You mean Ciemra? :P))
((You mean Ciemra? :P))
((Darn Madhins. There goes my wonderful backstory explanation. :<))Kaine shrugged again. "Feel free to go on your own, if you want to hear some good music." He grinned despite her obvious disdane.
