I preferred the books so much so the tv show is ok. Of course I think my imagination is so much better than anything they put on TV.

The Television series is good as a separate thing all together because it is much different from the books. I like both of them however.

Alethea Rivera (alethearivera) | 219 comments I love the shows and I know obviously that the books and shows/movies are always different. Can't wait to read the difference. :P

I watched the series first before the books. I think maybe when The Vampire Diaries hit it's first Hitaus in Season 1. I thought hey maybe i can read what is going to happen next in the books...so i picked up the books and found they were totaly different. lol....

my shortcut plan did not work.

Ellena though has the most change since I thought she would be the one who was blonde and blue eyed while Caroline is the one who is dark and tan. I mean really, Caroline and Ellena are like switched.

almost everyone had their personalities changed, names changed. I can agree that elena has the most change. Especially her personality.

Alethea Rivera (alethearivera) | 219 comments Even I who hasn't read the books knew that Elena had blonde hair. I was a little disapointed at that perspective. :/

Really? Did you know also that Elena is kind of a selfcentered person in the beginning of the series? (I think that is the right word to describe her.)

She was blugh! It was terrible how big headed she was. I think she was kind of vain too but it was just really bad.

yeah. i got online a bit to get a bit of info. since i didn't have time to read them, but i just wanted info on the characters, not the books because that would ruin the stories.

even though my friend Kendra thinks me watching the show is ruining it for me but i disagree, cause i know the books and the shows are very different. because i've read all of L.J.'s books and recognise her writing and know some of the details from the shows aren't smith's writing. :)

but i love the shows. and won'te ever stop watching them. they are definitely addicting. :)
