Hey Molly,

Have you given any thought to a picture for this group? I was searching some images and found one I thought would be good for this group. It's an image of a quill and ink; but it seemed like a traditional picture for writing, and it was pretty.

That's what I was thinking :).

Haha. Yeah, because we're all so sophisticated and distinguished :P.

I just really like the look of a quill and ink bottle. It reminds me of Dante Alighieri or something; how he must have sat down to write his thoughts with a quill and ink.

Thanks :).

Can you think of anything else that would make a good picture? I thought something that represented writing would be appropriate, but we could also have something that just looks cool.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Hm . . . but how would we choose the book? :P

My favorite book changes . . . pretty much weekly, depending on my mood :).

I like the idea of old fashioned script writing. There are so many choices.

Haha. (nerd alert) I used to write things over and over until I developed a penmanship I liked. I'm still kind of obsessive compulsive about it. I think that's why I prefer to type more than write.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

I just like for people to be able to read what I write :P. My husband still has chicken-scratch writing. He's never cared enough to improve it, though :P.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, that's true. Guys aren't nearly as obsessive about the little things as girls are :).

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm glad you liked it :). Actually, (again, nerd alert) I had planned to write a whole series following the ancestors of Imprint (ambitious, I know). That's what Inception is, btw. It's like Infernal Devices/Mortal Instruments. Desmond is an ancestor to one of the characters in Imprint (though I won't say who :P).

I want to continue it, but I have so many things going on right now, I hardly have the time to really breathe slowly :P.

And I love what I've read so far from the link you provided in the "what you have written" thread. :)

Life does get in the way. Especially work and school. Too many things to do, not nearly enough hours in which to do them.
