I can't stop thinking about Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart, which is the latest book to really change the way I see the world. A dystopian love story set during the collapse of the American government, it has affected the way I look at everything from reality TV to racial prejudice to modern language use. It's a great book, though I don't recommend it if you are squeamish about obscenity.

So, how about you? What books have altered the way you see the world?
