Okay, so a few of us were talking and we thought it would be a lot of fun to make a book mark to swap with someone for the holidays. The cut off date for signing up is Nov. 6th (10 days from tomorrow) and the cut off for sending out the book mark is December 10th, that way hopefully all will receive their holiday "goodies" before the BIG DAY! Does that sound okay with everyone? If you think the dates need to be tweaked or what not, just let me know!

So start signing up, I will be making a list and cheking it twice...hee, hee, hee! Maybe when you sign up, you should give first and last names or screen names, so that i can keep up with every one who want to participate.

Anna, I'd like to do this, but I'm not sure I can make a bookmark that someone would want to use. I usually buy my bookmarks, although I have a few my kids made when they were little (I could maybe do one of that quality--LOL). Would you or anyone else have a picture of what they've done in the past? I just don't want someone to get a dud from me. So, I am waiting for feedback before I jump into the hat.

Kathy, the last time I participated I ended up making Trish like 5 different bookmarks b/c once I got started I could not quit. I made paper ones and decorated them. You can totally do it...I promise! Remember it is the thought that counts! It will end up being fun...promise! Do you want me to count you in? Let me know!

The ones I make are super simple too. You just add charms and put your personal spin on it. U should join in Kathy, u may find that you have talent!!!

I appreciate the encouragement from you both, Anna and Donna, but I'm going to sit this one out. I hope I can join in the next time. My husband is in the middle of changing jobs, and I've decided it might be a bit chaotic to do this project, however small, right now. I hope you all have great fun doing it and look forward to seeing pictures of the bookmarks. The ones I saw from previous swaps were absolutely wonderful!

Okay, I just did the drawing and we had an un-even amount of people, so I put my name in twice, so that we would have enough pairs! The pairing is as follows:

April and Anna
Lyn M and Anna

I guess to get the persons information and contact them in regards to address, theme, etc. you can scroll back through the above comments and pick out your bookmark pal's name and click on it. Does that work for everyone or should I do it a different way?

I just heard from Anna that she received mine. I am glad they got there so fast.

I mailed mine to Wen today! It is going clear across the country though, so I don't know how long it will take. Wen, let me know when you get it! Hope you like it...if yours comes first I'll wait to open.

April, I'm mailing yours either tomorrow or Monday. I'm sooo sorry that I haven't mailed it yet... I have no excuse to offer except that my kids and job have left me with no time to spare. :)
