actually, In japan, Kanji is most commonly used in everyday life. Katakana is typically used for names (people and names given to pets) or names they aren't able to translate into Japanese. :)

Haha, Well, this is what our teacher told us at least and what i have noticed in the papers. :) and katakana being used for names, i mean like american names and words they can't say, for Japanese names they use kanji.

yay! well, i wanted to help people learn japanese and korean... but their is no korean one so japanese is cool too and japan is a lot cool. And yes, my english is not very good, i don't think.
really? but you do when i talk. My accent and other words. English is a strange language. Each letter has many sounds.
Yeah, I know. Some words can be spelled many different ways but sound the same way.

no... :( I was just really interested and learned the tinyest little bit of info from a few google sites and then became even MORE interested.
