Appearance: Tall with an impressive build (Not "buff" but well-muscled, In other words, hot.). He has dark forest green eyes and dark brown hair, with olive skin. He has long eye lashes, and high cheekbones.
As a wolf, he is a midnight black, which consists of a dark blue tinge to it. The fur is long and slick, and his ears are rather tall. His tail has a sweeping length to it. His eyes are the same forest green color, and his fangs are pure white. His wolf self is, like most, almost as tall as a human.
Personality: Sarcastic and confident, but loyal. He has a problem with depression. Spiraling through it due to the unintentional murders he has committed. He doesn't show it, but hides it behind arrogance, anger, indifference, and offense aimed at others. He doesn't like to get close to people, but can be fiercely protective, when he's not putting someone down or blowing them off with a dryly sarcastic comment, basically, whenever he allows himself to know someone (which is unbelievably rare).
History: Now revealed: Jai used to be very good-natured, happy even. All of this due to a Nephilim, named Kaza, who had lost her memory of the Shadowworld. When he first met her, she pulled out a knife in fear, because she had just seen him as a wolf. He taught her though, explained to her what everything was, what she was, and after going through so much with her, saving her life even, he realized he had fallen in love with her. On the night that she finally kissed him, he became the happiest he had ever been. He had truly found his soul-mate.
Later though, he developed a dangerous condition. He was unaware until during battle, Kaza killed a demon that would have killed him. He heard the demon's cry and turned, still a werewolf mid-battle. He didn't remember who he was, who she was, where he was, what was happening. All he knew was that he was a wolf. And he was a killer.
And he murdered his own soul-mate.
He realized his mistake immediately, upon her strangled cry of pain.
It ruined his life. He never knew happiness again, and became the hardened, stoic, depressed creature that he is now.
The action was repeated with the warlock Belle. And he has been torn even further.
Crush: Actually, he is open to a healing. If he found someone else....
Other: He's smart. Very smart, and cunning. He is also a virgin, no matter how many times he hints at the opposite.
The condition he has is thus: As a wolf, at the sight of blood, or a killing he caused, he looses his grip on reality as a human and becomes only a wolf. The wolf though, is almost rabid, as if it is threatened, or hungry, and he will attack and attempt to kill anything. He can be broken out of the "spell" by becoming human again, or an extreme emotional spike or change (such as killing those he loves, or seeing someone else killing them. Even surprise or someone with a stronger-then-normal place in his heart can snap him out of it.)

Appearance: Constantly changing, but she prefers smaller creatures like mouses and cats (usually black or grey mice, and she prefers to be a tortoiseshell cat- again, a very small cat) she can also shape shift into a human, preferring a pale girl, around 16, with very, very dark brown hair, that falls to her mid-back and pale green eyes.
Recently, she's been changing into a black raven.
Preferred human height: 5'4"
Personality: She has a sharp temper. She watches the Shadowhunters at the institute and on occasion will jump out in an attack as an animal or human. She jumps away quickly after causing any minor injury to escape. Her human-like heart and soul tame her though, and she doesn't know quite what she is or what she's supposed to do as a demon.
Curious, stubborn, timid, tempered, exposed.
History: She has always been who she is. A watcher, an information gatherer, and a hunter. She kills by sneaking up on her prey. She actually saw Jai kill Kaza, she was there. She used that information to save herself, changing into the girl she had seen and scaring Jai into letting go of her neck.
Of course, this made Jai her enemy even more than usual, and brough back Jai's memories.
Her father was a warlock, raped by an eidolon demon, who gave birth to her. This strange mixture of blood is what made her so different, with a conscience, with an active mind. The ability to feel like an actual human girl.
Crush: Well... Ooooh jeez.
Other: She (usually) hates shadowhunters.
She can think. He had a conscience, and unlike other demons, has a purpose in life besides killing, and that's living. She's more than a killer and a hunter, she can feel, she can love, and she's very, very curious.

Age: 19

Appearance: Very black hair, silver eyes that seem to shimmer, very tall, muscular build, blind in one eye, has one webbed toe which is his mark to show that he is a warlock
Personality: Loud but one of those laughs that are contagious, along with his smile, devious and clever.
History: Unknown

Other: Is very show-offish with his magic.

Name: Persephone Hartwood (some call her Seph)
Age: 19
Actual Age: 153 (Born in 1857)
Species/Type: Vampire
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dark brown hair, brown-black eyes, 5’6”, toned

Personality: Assertive, tough, strong-willed, determined, impatient
History: Turned when she was 19, her entire family was killed and she has been out for revenge on the one responsible.
Crush: None yet
Other: Tries to subsist on animal blood, but has been known to give into her cravings for humans

This is the character outline for characters from the Downworld or that are Demons.

Name: Korra

Species/Type: Warlock
Gender: Female

Appearance: Tall and slender with very pale skin, black eyes, ragged black hair, and surprisingly white teeth. Her bangs always fall across her eyes, giving her bit of a sinister look. Her demon marks come in the form of pointed ears and large, black feathered wings that grow from her back, which she can use to fly. Pretty in a gothic way.

Personality: Quiet, sarcastic, and deadpan, she doesn't talk much but has a sharp tongue when provoked or annoyed. Due to her ability to use magic to cast spells, Korra lives an easy life, spending most of her time socializing with other Downworlders and amusing herself.

History: Was born in London to a very poor mother who didn't know Korra's father was a demon. Her mother died in childbirth and Korra was raised in the country by a kind, slightly crazy/eccentric old woman named May, who possessed the sight. May died around the same time Korra stopped aging (19-20 yrs. old) but by then Korra had gleaned enough basic spells to get by life with. When the 1900's rolled around, Korra immigrated to NYC.

Other: Isn't much of a fighter, her spells are better used for defense and hiding, though Korra has no personal enemies and hasn't had to worry about mortal threats for decades, since she knows how to produce glamours. However, in addition to being able to fly, she can see in the dark and is very agile and flexible, which can lend her an advantage if necessary.

Name: Annabella (Correctly pronounced "Anna-beya", like the ll in spanish) Belle.
Age: 7
Actual age: 7 (She's not done growing)
Species/Type: Warlock
Gender: Female

Appearance: Slender, with a cute round face and large brown eyes the color of chocolate. She has short, white blond hair that falls to her chin. Her demon marks are a cat tail and ears.

Personality: Innocent, sweet, and contented on the outside, but power-hungry, a megalomaniac, and evil predecessor of Delano Leon.

History: Her mother is dead. She was raised by another Warlock up until the age of 4, then she was left on her own. She somehow managed to find a home to sleep in because the owners were rarely home, and she stole the food that they bought. Her magic is strong, but she knows little of it. She usually only manages to accidentally cause something to happen out of fear, anger, or excitement.

Name: Massiela Froisse
Age: 18
Actual age: 21
Species/type: vampire
Gender: female
Appearance: Thin, toned muscles, pale complexion, long, curly red hair, Ice blue eyes, tall( somewhere around 6'7"), lean, pretty, gentle features, delicate looking.
Personality: she is calm and gentle, but also tough, stubborn, kick-ass and bad-ass. She has a great sense of humor but does not often crack jokes. Is level headed and wise, usually. Unless...well, there are a few certain someones that break her.
History: Unknown to all, especially herself. All she knows is that she somehow got a scar just on her left cheeck bone, a long gash scar.

Other: Likes to have people with her, but dislikes being told what to do in any way, shape, or form. Is definitely a leader. Strong.

Personality: Grey, he doesn't express interest in much. Laid-back and easily bored.
History: No one knows where he originated, nit even fellow demons, though he was born on earth. He was believed to have spent much of his earlier life in Israel, before migrating to Greece. A trail of blood usually follows him, and those who have been lucky enough to escape his wrath wouldn't want to repeat it again. He has a twin sister, though she is believed to be dead.
Crush: Open

How to kill him: A mixture of silver and the dust of a moonstone combined in a bullet through his heart should do the job.

Um... are there demons that look like humans? I don't think there are, but he could be a kind of fey. Or a warlock. Horns and blank eyes can be accomplished by either. And the fey are evil. Evil. Beauty of the Angels, evil of the demons. They are the offspring of them.

Yeah, I think that demons can choose to look like a human if they want. But I very well may be wrong.

Hm... Isn't that only the shape changing demon? The Eidolon? I don't know...

Yes, demons can look like humans. Remember in the very, very first book? The first demon Clary saw killed was a blue haired boy in the Pandaemonium Club. He talked how about, at first, Isabel looked so beautiful she looked like the females back in his own dimensions....until he got close and saw her imperfections, like how she sweated and her mascara ran.

I'm sure many demons look like humans, or have various forms they can choose between, since humans are willing to mate with them.

Also, Fey aren't inherently evil, they're just mischievous and more prone to temptation. If you've read the Modern Tales of Faerie by Holly Black (three books, Tithe, Valiant, and Ironside) which are set in the exact same universe as TMI then you know this. In fact the entire Faerie (Seelie) Court is actually from Holly Black's books, and they're the main focus of her novels.

Gender: Male
Appearance: He's average height (5'8), and Spanish. His hair is usually uncombed and greasy, a dark brown. He has thick stubble on his cheeks and chin, and jet black eyes. His demon mark is a black dragon claw in place of his hand. This characteristic gave him the name of "the Black Dragon." Also known as Belle's DaddyWarlock.
Personality: He's uncaring and harsh. Hates Nephilium. He's gotten bored with most everything, and lives, lazily and comfortably, wherever he can find a comfortable place.
History: He used to be part of a cult called The Demon's Advocate. They were set against destroying the Enclave and every shadowhunter.
Crush: Blane. He used to love her, and despite everything, even the fact that she's trying to prove him guilty, he still does.
Other: The reason for Shaye's insanity. He is referred to in The Infernal Devices role-play. (I created his character, but Lena role-plays him.)

Personality: Uses laze, irritablility, and arrogance to mask pain and misery, but at only one thing, not over life itself. Tends to trust too easily. Not smart, not a good thing to live by.....his major weakness is love, dwelling on the past, and trust...
History: He was having an affair with Jade's mother, loved her, loves her, won't let her go. The reason the Purist, Jade's father, killed Jade's mother a long time ago. Seemingly working for the Purist, but a good guy.
Crush: ....well, he mates for life, so......
Other: He's hiding pain over his lost love, love lost for and because of solely him, and cannot get over it.

Other: is obviously gay but proud of it

Good character! The only criticism I could possibly ever have is that she may need a little more vulnerability, or imperfections, but there are ways to rp that if need be. :)

If he is going to be one of you're characters, then of course, but just remember that it might get a bit hard to roleplay two characters when one has a crush on the other. You end up talking to yourself. :)
