Gage ran down the stairs, then 9 year old had fear in his hazel blue eyes. He looked behind him and screamed. The man chased him outside. Gage ran down the street. The man got in his car and hit down gage. Little Gage lay on the sidewalk, dead. The man grabbed the body and buried it. Near the house Gage ran out of.

Present day

Gage sat on a couch in the house. He was transparent.

Vlad walked around in the shadows, quickly running from out of the sun and into a building. It looked abandoned so he decided to check it out. He found a girl, about the age of 17. He snuck up behind her and he bit down on her neck, the sweet crimson splashing onto his tongue. He drank until the last drop and laid the woman down and swallowed the blood,AB negative. Delicious. He walked around and laid on a couch inside the business building and slept.

Gage stood up, a mist followed him slightly. He sat at the window, halloween night. He read the sighn, 'Haunted House! Gaurented to scare!'

Meredith walked outside the Haunted House,"Wow this does look pretty creepy. It actually looks like a place where ghosts would love to live in. Not to mention vampires, or werewolves. But none of those exist, I'm certain of it," she walked inside.

Vlad woke up an hour later and walked down the stairs and looked at Gage,"Hey kid, what're you doing here? I thought I was the only one who usually stayed here."

Gage looked at him creepy like. "I want revenge." He sighed. "A female is coming." He walked acroos the hall.

"A girl huh? Well I guess I'm having two woman today," Vlad smirked hungrily and his fangs elongated.

Meredith walked in and frowned,"Well that's weird I expected to be welcomed by some kind of creature or something."

Vlad laughed,"Well we want you satisfied don't we? You satisfy me good enough," he appeared behind Meredith and she jumped,"Where did you come from?"

Gage frowned. "Don't hurt her. You don't ingure the guests."

"Well maybe to you she may be a human but to me her blood is the only thing I want," Vlad had Meredith in a headlock.

Meredith was terrified and looked at Gage,"Help me! He's going to kill me!"

Vlad smirked,"Well aren't we a smart human."

Gage blinked sadly. "Vlad, your horrid." He frowned. "I was NINE! And killed, let her live!"

Vlad growled,"Alright fine," he pushed Meredith forward away from him and she staggered back.

"You're both DEAD? I can tell he's a vampire," Meredith pointed to Vlad,"But you. You're obviously a ghost," she looked at Gage,"Thanks. Keep him away from me," she shuddered when she looked at Vlad.

Vlad laughed,"You won't be so lucky next time kid."

Gage frowned. "Gage." He whispered. "My name is Gage, I almost forgot."

Meredith nodded,"Alright. I'm Meredith. Nice to meet someone who isn't freaky like he is," she gestured to Vlad who smirked.

"Name's Vladimir Brookstone. But I go by Vlad,"Vlad crossed his arms.

Gage narrowed his eyes. "I'm freakyer then him." Gage sighed. "I am a 9 year old ghost."

"Yeah but you didn't attack me," Meredith looked away.

Vlad laughed,"And it was hilarious too. The look on your face, your adrenaline rushing, your pulse racing, it sounds like your blood would be amazing."

Meredith screamed,"Don't you dare even think about it!"

Gage sighed. "Vlad, please stop!"

Vlad glanced over at Gage and walked up the stairs,"I'm going upstairs."

Meredith released a sigh of relief,"Does he ever know when to stop?"

Gage breathed out. "Nope."

"So how do you know him? Isn't he like a murderer or something? Ever been arrested? Attacked by a slayer? Anything?" Meredith looked at the stairs curiously.

Vlad slammed the door behind him and sighed, running a frustrated hand through his hair,"God that girl's blood is amazing."

Gage shrugged. "Hes in the same house." He walked through a wall and into the kitchen.

Meredith looked at Gage as he walked through the wall,"Oh," she walked into the kitchen,"So how long have you known him anyway? You two look like you haven't aged or actually turned a year older than you usually are at all."

Vlad sighed again and laid on the bed in the room,"Ok now I'm bored," he stared at the ceiling,"And the ceiling isn't interesting in the least."

"I saw him today, but know everything about him." He paused. "We don't age because we're dead." He sighed. "I've been nine since 1989"

Meredith nodded,"Alright. Well I don't know much about ghosts and vampires. But I know alot about lycans," she smiled,"But thing is, I've been trying to prove that they exist, but I just can't get the evidence."

Vlad walked down the stairs, heading into the kitchen and grabbed something from the fridge that looked like some kind of bag filled with a strange red liquid. He smirked and walked into the living room with it.

Gage listend. ""So you want me to show someone else me?"

"Not if you don't want to. I can keep you guys a secret if you want. I don't mind," Meredith smiled.

Vlad was listening to this and eventually bit into the bag and swallowed the sweet blood down his throat and laid down, closing his eyes.

"Impossible for them to see us. We can only show ourselves to people we want to show."

Vlad called from the living room,"Actually I can't hide myself except for in the shadows."

Meredith rolled her eyes,"So arrogant."

Gage nodded. "Who said we were talking to you?" He called to Vlad.

"Well you said US. Which in you AND me," Vlad said matter-of-factly.

Meredith sighed,"He's annoying isn't he?"

"But I wasn'ttalking to you! Now was I?" He rolled his eyes. "Dumby."

Vlad sat up,"I HEARD THAT!" he walked into the kitchen angrily and clenched his fists,"Don't call me that again or else I WILL call psychics to come get rid of you!"

Meredith frowned,"That would be mean."

Vlad shot a glance at Meredith,"Mean or not he's always doing that! Kid doesn't even know how to respect others!"

"We justmet today, how could I ALWAYS be doing this?" Gage growled.

"BECAUSE I CAN READ YOUR MIND! DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT!? ALSO I HEAR YOU ALL THE TIME DOWN HERE WHEN YOU HIDE FROM ME! I'M NOT STUPID Y'KNOW!" Vlad's fangs were showing and his eyes were red from anger, he wanted to send Gage down to hell now.

Gage frowned. "Wow your dumb, I don't have a mind to read, ghost's are immune to vampires. I never talk to myself. And yes you are stupid."

Vlad walked upstairs and up into the attic instead of his room and accidently broke the attic door,"I AM NOT FIXING THAT!" he collapsed down onto the couch up there and ran a frustrated hand through his hair,"God I am really starting to hate that kid."

Gage sighe and grabbed a hammer, "if you excuse me, I have a door to fix." He began to walk twords the attic.

Meredith nodded and sighed,"He must be under alot of pressure with different situations. Maybe he just needs a friend or something. But the way you're treating him isn't very friendly."

Vlad closed his eyes and laid his head back,This SUCKS. I should probably go stand in the sunlight and just turn to ashes or something.

Gage sighed, "how do you think I feel?" He narrowed his eyes. "I was KILLED at NINE!" He sighed. "I never got to drive, I never had a kid, I never dated." He scra=eamed.

Meredith crossed her arms in front of her and turned her back to Gage,"Well you didn't have to yell at me," she turned and walked downstairs.

Vlad suddenly fell asleep and laid there on the couch.

Gage walked after her. "I'm sorry ok."

"Well technically you are 30 years old. You just look like a 9 year old that's all," Meredith sat down on the stairs.

Vlad yawned and sat up, stretching,"Is it night time already?" he looked out the window to see the sun setting over the horizon,"Just about. Hunting time," he smirked and walked downstairs into the kitchen, grabbing a chicken leg from the fridge with it in his mouth,"Hey Gage, I hab some chippen in here. I don't know if you like it or not but I brought some back with me from hunting," he sat at a small table in a dining room and started biting into the "chippen."

Gage blinked, "no thanks, it goes right through me."

((LOL! IT GOES RIGHT THROUGH HIM! GET IT?))

((OMG GROSS SYDNEY! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!))
"Alright fine. I'm going hunting later though. And what about that girl that was here? Is she in there with you?" Vlad swallowed and took another bite of the chicken.

Meredith smirked and threw a rock at Vlad from the living room and it hit him in the head,"Does that answer your question?"

Vlad winced,"OW! Why did you do that? And where did you get the rock from?"

Meredith giggled,"I did that to answer your question. But I found the rock outside before I came in."

((How is it gross? Hes a ghost, the food goes through him...))

Gage blinked, "why would you bring a rock inside?"

Meredith shrugged,"I don't know. It just felt right to bring it with me."

Vlad finished eating the chicken leg and stood up, walking towards the door,"I'll be back at sunrise," he ran out the door and all that people saw was a blurred image jumping onto their cars,This is more fun than I thought it would be. He saw a tall man walking around near a small river and smiled,"Bingo," he appeared behind the man and snapped the man's neck to the side before the man could yell for help. He bit down on his neck and drank every last drop of blood from his body, dropping the lifeless body to the ground and went on feeding onto other humans.

Gage rolled his eyes, "lucky he can go outside, I can't go out unless follwing a person I haunt."

Meredith frowned,"Can't you find someone to haunt?"

Vlad walked through the door, surprised as what had happened 3 blocks from the house, he'd been staked by a slayer. He collapsed in the doorway and coughed, blood trickling down his mouth.

Meredith gasped,"Gage! Vlad's hurt!" she ran over to Vlad and leaned on the floor next to him,"What happened?!"

Vlad lay on his back, the stake in his chest. He couldn't move and he felt himself slowly dying. If he didn't get this thing out soon he was going to die.

Gage walked over. "Thats how to kill a vampire." He sighed. "I don't know what to do."

"But who else but us know that Vlad's a vampire? Ok I'm going to try something but I don't know if this will help or not though," Meredith gripped the stake and quickly pulled it out of Vlad's chest.

Vlad screamed in pain and blood poured out of his chest.
