Its pretty good, I'm about halfway through.
I seem to be reading a lot of books about kidnapping lately.

Is the author related to Kurt?

Jenn

Still working on We Don't Live Here Anymore by Andre Dubus. Like it lots too. About marriage, affairs and friendship. Good readin!! His son, Andre Dubus III, does the introduction(House of Sand and Fog) and was wonderful.

Gaahh! New books.. Dennis Lehane and Stephen King??? Gonna have to go see what they're about.

Spent last night in Urgent Care. 2nd chest x-ray in 3 weeks. Cannot stop coughing and then I can't catch my breath. I'm now on my 2nd round of antibiotics and this one, they say, has had "success with pneumonia." I have cough syrup with codeine, too, which does seem to help a slight bit. Also, had a test for whooping cough. And I leave Friday a.m.!

You need to get better fast.

I think Hawaii itself should be able to finish curing you.

Maybe our replies to Laurel crashed in cyberspace. It looks like they were both sent at the same time!

Hope you feel better soon Laurel!

LOL:)

Oh, Laurel, I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. Feel better soon!

Marybeth, I saw that Lehane wanted to go back to his old series, and I am glad he brought things into the current day. I never read King, but I might. When I read, On Writing I developed an appreciation for his craft. When my students become frustrated about revising their writing, I usually mention how King might revise a page up to 20 times.

I haven't read King's fiction in years, though I'm a fan of his earlier works. I really liked "On Writing," and have at times assigned portions of it to my students. He can be pretty funny.

Anyway, I am reading the 5 greatest warriors by Matthew Rielly. He is an australian author that I happened to stumble upon and have loved his work since!! Up next - probably Rich Boy.
