SOS: Serious Overload of Series discussion

Starting in December 2010, we will be hosting two different mini-monthly challenges

Members are welcome to join one, both or pass until next month. It's completely up to you! One challenge will be genre-related and the other will be a cover hunt challenge. Both challenges will require only 2-3 reads, so we hope you'll join us.

Is there a minimum number of pages for the books to be read in the challenges?

Our Bookshelf Bingo has a minimum number of pages required to qualify, as do a couple of our other misc challenges. But, there is no required number of pages for misc challenges typically, unless otherwise noted in the rules of each.

When a genre isn't specified as a requirement (for example the Genre Juice mini-challenge, where one has to read one PNR/UF book), can we read other genres, too? Mysteries, historical? I ask for the Cover Hunt mini-challenge, in particular ...

Hi Vittoria, yes, you may choose from other genres when genre isn’t specifically required as part of a challenge.
