Andrez (andrez-ssi) - Portuguese people kiss each others cheeks when they meet or greet each other.

- The floor on the street is gorgeous (go here for more information and some pictures)

- everyone, or almost everyone, either speaks French or English and understands Spanish, so do not fear if you cannot speak Portuguese!

- food is awesome (ask for a "cosido à portuguesa" if you need more proof)

- there's a particular genre of music, called fado that is famous all around the world. Artists as Amália Rodrigues (who has already died but is considered the best) and Mariza (go here for more information or here to watch a video of her singing)
