"Bye Mom, I'll see you later!" Sarah called as her mom drove away. "Well here goes..." She nervously wrapped her thin arms around her books and walked into the school building.

Emily skipped through the doors while singing, "My Life would Suck without You." by Kelly Clarkson.

Sarah started to hum a tune by Superchick.

Emily walked into the bathroom and fixed her hair. She started singing quietly.

Jack was walking down the hallway when Mrs.Jackson called him over. "I will see you in detintion."

"But I didn't Do anything."

"But you will jack, you will."

((Hahaha...that made me laugh))

Emily finished her hair and walked to first period, "Ugh, World History," she muttered.

Sarah quietly slipped into her seat, hoping no one would notice her. But apparently the teacher did. "Welcome Sarah." the teacher said. Sarah slid down in her seat and turned red. Having the teacher talking to you was embarrassing.

Jack walked in to World History and saw a familiar face. " yo Emily."

"Hey!" Emily said brightly, she high-fived Jack.

Sarah opened her World History book and pretended to read it.

Emily looked over and noticed a new girl. She studied her while she talked to Jack.

"You ok Emily" Jack saw through the corner of his eye a tall bulky jock enter the room.

"Jack come here" The huge guy shoved jack across the room.

"Dude, leave him alone!" Emily yelled and socked the guy in the nose, she wasn't sure it would do much damage because he was so big.

Sarah's thin hands dropped the World History book. Her skin grew an ugly shade of white and she slid down in her seat.

"It's OK" Jack was taking a seat when Mrs.Jackson walked in.

"starting trouble alredy Jack. I'll see you in dettionet twice." Jack moaned. Then He saw the new girl.
"Hey you ok."

"I'm ok." Sarah said in a half-whisper.

'Hey me and a couole of freinds si at the same table at lunch. Want to join us."

Emily rolled her eyes at the teachers unfairness to Jack, but she ignored it and looked through her book.

"Sure." said Sarah looking back at her book.

"Sweet I'll see you then."

Emily gave Jack a note. Who is that girl? -E

Jack sccribled down on the back of the note.

NEW GIRL. IS SITTING WITH US AT LUNCH.

"Jack, passing notes I see." Mrs.Jackson smiled "I'll see you in dtention."

Sarah brushed a lock of her hair back and scribbled something in her notebook.

Emily slapped her hand to her forehead. That teacher doesn't miss anything, does she? she thought to herself. Emily looked over at Sarah and gave her a funny smile.

RING!!!! 3rd period ended and jack walked to lunch. He saw Emily and Sarah and called them over.

Emily walked over with her tray. She eyed Sarah as she sat down. "So, you're new here, huh?"

"Yes." Sarah said sitting down with her tray in hand. "I just moved into town a few days ago with my family."

Emily raised an eyebrow, "What are you good at?"

"I write poetry." Sarah said sipping on her chocolate milk. "Mainly free verse."

"Oh, so like, what extra activities will you take up?"

"I dunno. Maybe acting."

Emily nodded and finished her pizza.

Jack tried to get sarah to luagh. "You see my special is detention."

(My actual extra activity is acting.)

((Olo, really? I'm gonna start Public school next fall...I wanna take up acting, and probably Softball))

Sarah laughed. "I could see that." she said with a grin.

Emily sighed and took another bite of her pizza.

Sarah absentmindedly twirled a lock of her black hair around her finger while she sipped on her chocolate milk some more.

"Well, I'm going to the glee club room to go practise. See ya'll later." Emily threw her food away and walked to the room. She imagined the music playing and started singing.

"Well sarah see you later. I got to make it to the bandhall in 5 min.,see ya.

"Bye. I'm going to drama club." said Sarah getting up and making her way to the stage.

The music was flowing through jack as he played his flute. As jack was going to his locker when he saw the jock walking twoard him.

Sarah walked out of the auditorium and went to her locker to get her cellphone.

The jock shoved jack into a random student. Turns out it was Sarah.

"Watch it!" Sarah said skidding backwards. "You nearly knocked me over!"

Emily walked over to her locker and saw the jock shoving Sarah. She rolled her eyes, she was sick of these kids who thought they ruled everything.

Sarah stomped her foot backwards onto the jock's foot and walked off, smiling contentedly.

Emily rolled her eyes and then walked to class.
