((I did a quiz thing to find my pirate name and I thought what the heck, let's make a topic.))

Black Mary Kidd strolled along the dock heading towards the tavern.

Iron Jenny Vane was in the tavern.

((I was wondering, do we always say the full name? I was thinking that I'll just use the last name from now on.))

((meeeee tooooooooooo))

Vane ordered some food. ((yum))

Kidd walked calmly into the smoky tavern, blinked at little at the brightness compared the night outside. She noticed many rugged and scruffy looking men, then saw a girl sitting at a table near a window.

Finishing her food, Vane yawned and stared out her grimy window. She sat there, realizing she craved a drink and motioned a waiter over. Pondering what she would get, Vane finally decided on some (insert drink here).

Kidd walked up to the bar and sat on a stool far from everyone else.

Vane sipped her mystery drink.

((What is insert drink here?))
Kidd glanced again at the girl by the window. She felt an odd sensation, as if she seen her before.

((I didn't know what my charrie drinks))

Vane felt someone eying her. She turned her head towards this girl at the bar and raised an eyebrow.

((okay))
Kidd shook her head and returned to facing the bar.

Vane shrugged and downed her drink with one last gulp. ((lol we should start a fight))

A scruffy man shoved his way to sit next to Kidd. Kidd leaned away in disgust.

Vane chuckled slightly at Kidd's bad luck.

"Hey, lass, what are you doin' in these here parts?" the man leaned towards Kidd until she could smell his sour breath.
Kidd smiled sweetly then shoved him out of her face. "Get lost you pile of rubbish!"

Vane slapped down some money onto her table and headed over to Kidd. She said, "You ready to set sail?"

((how's about they were old shipmates who finally reunited?))

"Um," Kidd looked at Vane in confusion. She didn't recognize her at first, but soon enough there came a bright understanding in her eyes. "Yeah, sure." She gave another shove to the disgusting man and followed Vane.

((awesome.))

Vane nodded and walked over to the shipyard.

"Vane, haven't seen you around these parts." Kidd smiled.

"Yeah, me neither. I guess after we split up to go our ways...things just fell apart for the rest of the crew. But hey! We're having a reunion! Were you over here for that?"

"Um, not really. I've been trying to find any kind of opening to leave this place."

"Lovely."

"So, are you going to the reunion?"

"Probably. Nothing much else to do."

"That's nice. Well, see you later then." Kidd smiled and began to walk down to the harbor.

Azreil walking in to the tavern for a drink and shot at employment walks straight to the bar

"Oh. Aren't you coming?" Vane called after her.

Azreil Asking the bar man for a drink and if anyone was hiring right now?

Kidd turned around and looked at Vane. "Why? Do I have to? What is so great that it would make me visit?"

((no seriosly any one need a extra hand????))

((Maybe you heard men in the tavern talk about the reunion that Kidd and Vane are going to, otherwise, I don't think anyone needs a hand.))

((okay not sure I understand but here's a shot at it))Azriel talking to the barman asks about the two who just left.

((Yep, that's good, do you want me to be the barman temporarily?))

((Okay, well, I'll start.))
"Ah, yes. A fine pair of ladies, aren't they?" the barman said in a gruff voice.

Yeah who exactly are they?

((Can you please use quotes? It's more difficult to follow conversations without them.))
"Oh, they are Black Mary Kidd and Iron Jenny Vane." the barman said as he rubbed a rag over glasses.

"And they're ship is?"

"They don't have a ship, they are part if a crew that has separated. I hear the captain of the ship is asking for a reunion."

"Why did they break up?"

"Well," said Vane, "Don't you miss all yer old mates?"

"I guess..." Kidd shrugged. "Fine, I'll go, but I'll leave when I've had enough."

"No one really knows why. Maybe someone was killed or a plundering didn't work out. Whatever happened, it was bad enough to separate that crew. It's odd, too. A crew is like a family, so why break up?" The barman rubbed is gristly chin sagely.

Azriel "Then why is he calling them back it makes no sense?"

"Maybe the captain found a heist or something and he wants the best, 'cause we all know captains always choose the best for his crew." The barman shrugged.

Vane raised an eyebrow. "Booorinnnng." She pretended to yawn.

((then your reply seems weird since you wanted KIdd to come and now you say that KIdd is boring??? I'm confused.))
