Hi I'm new. Excited to find a genealogy group! Yeah:)

I have been addicted to genealogy since I was 18 and love meeting other genealogy addicts!

It is great to have found a group on goodreads!:)

Same here, but I have been doing this since I was 10. My parents when I was ten took a Germany history class because they knew my dads side of the family was German, and they were searching for a town in Germany that has our last name. Anyway at the same time we received a notebook one of my fathers cousins had written up on her side of the family, and well, I swiped it, and it went from there, been in love since then.

Hi! I'm new here too. I was happy to find this group on goodreads. I would like to suggest if you haven't already tried Heritage Quest that you should give it a whirl. I gleaned tons of great information from that website. My library carries has it online and can be accessed remotely as well as in-library. Check with your local library for more information :)

we don't have heritage quest, but we do have ancestry online at our local library, that is what first got me involved in looking up my ancestors, I have found out some things that I was not looking for.
