The Wagon discussion

May contain spoilers for the first half of the book.


Hmm... a bit more romancey than I was expecting. And I'm a little lost with the world building. Are we in the future? Alternate Earth?

I also think she fell in a bit too quick with the Disillusionists. On one hand I kind of understand it, Packard gives her the first relief she's had in well - ever. Maybe if the world building was a little clearer - are highcaps accepted as fact? I'm getting conflicting impressions, if it was clear they are fact in this world I could get on board with Justine joining up quickly.

I'm a little confused, a tiny bit frustrated, but still interested enough that I do want to keep reading.

What??? I'm not throughly confused, but there had better be a pay off here.

I don't hate it, but I'm not exactly loving this book either.

I'm still waiting for it to come in at the library. *sigh*

I think my problem is I bought into the hype. Lots of blogs I read lovethisbooksoverymuch. I was thinking this was going to be more like the Kate Daniels series (Ilona Andrews) and it's not.
