I saw this Becky and I thought it was me and I was a little confused at first! Everyone calls me Becky at home. :-) Plus this is very similar to my 2011 challenge! Hopefully we can encourage each other! It's just so easy to buy ebooks though..I do it late at night and ugh..it just needs to stop!!!Good Luck - let's keep in touch with each other. It is, but it isnt? LOL! have you read her Fever series? the Mc's(can't remember the ending) that she talks about are these Mc's! (Not to be confused with Mac, herself)
okay, it's the MacKeltars. Book one and two weren't so great and could be left off. Book three is where it gets goooood!Book four was/is my fave! I mean, LOOOK at that MOUTH!!!
I haven't read the fever series yet, its on my tbr mountain though!

Something Old:
Something New: Vision in White by Nora Roberts 3/12
This book centers on weddings and marriages, the heroine along with her 3 best friends run a wedding catering company "Vows", where Mac does the photography. This story and characters were realistic, but not my reality. It had flawed characters that had a support system to assist in getting through difficult times. This is in the NEW category because this is a new author for me and now I can't wait to finish the series.

Wedding Scene:Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale.
This being a HR book I am not sure how realistic the wedding scene was. The Hero and his friends trick Maggie into marriage by saying his family was there to take him back to the asylum. The boys hired men to bang on the churches doors as if they were in pursuit and Maggie agreed to the wedding. Having Christian's (hero) best friend being an ordained priest was icing on the cake. That being said I really enjoyed this book and the scene made scense within the realm of the book, but not something I could imagine happening in the "real world".
Married Couple: Somewhere I'll Find You by Lisa Kleypas.
The story was not realistic, the couple was married when she was 4 and he was 7. I don't think that is realistic at all, but the characters feelings towards this event where realistic. They both resented each other and didn't want to admit they where married (they where estranged). I can not relate to the story line but I still really enjoyed the story. Sometimes it is nice to read just for the enjoyment of reading and this is one of those books.

Divorced Couple: Not Quite a Husband by Sherry Thomas 3/25
The book takes place in 1897 three years after the H/h have had their marriage desolved. For the time period I find it difficult that an annulment could have taken place but it did make for an amazing story. Bryony was a female surgeon that due to the stress of her marriage (she thought) had a white streak in her hair that made her decide that she wanted to end her marriage. The hero, a math genius, then followed her across the globe to be close to her without being with her. It was a romantic and heart wrenching story and would recommend the book and due to the time period hard for me to determine how realstic it is.
