Rylan looked at her schedual for the day.
Rylan was late but didn't care. She walked to her second period and waited outside the door
Blaire stepped out of her sleek black lamborghini and retrieved her backpack out of the seat before her driver sped off.
She shoved her aviators on and frowned at the plain brick building before her. Here I go., she thought unenthusiastically.
Blaire perambulated to the front entrance and entered the highschool. Eyes were pulled like magnets in her direction, envying her designer skinny jeans, tawny leather jacket, and stylish black v-neck that hugged her well toned body.
Blaire ignored the staring and headed straight to the front office. The attendance woman eyed her suspiciously, before changing her expression to a welcoming grin. "Hi! You must be our new student! Welcome to Ridgeway Highschool."
"Thank you. It's nice to be here." Blaire's pretty Russian accent and unbelievabley white smile took the woman aback.
"Um, here is your schedule, Blaire? Is it?"
"Yes, thank you." Blaire smiled as she took the crisp white sheet of paper.
Once Blaire had all of her paperwork sorted out, she exited the office and went to find her second period.

Scarlett stopped and glanced over her shoulder and saw Lucas. "Wrong girl," she said with a half smile.

Chance sank down in his seat. He hated this class. He sighed as the teacher rumbled on about The Scarlett Letter.
Scarlett couldnt help but smile a little. "Right. Dont we have the same math class?"

"Right," Scarlett said as they walked down the hall.
Chance heard Preston humming behind him, instead of being annoyed he actualy enjoyed the soft tone of her voice.

Chance rolled his head from side to side. He couldnt try and pay attention anymore. Instead he took out his photography notebook and brainstormed different backgrounds for photo's.
Scarlett watched Lucas go to his seat. Flexing the hand he had held she went to her own seat rolling her eyes at the teacher' expression.

Scarlett took notes every so often as she usually did. She tended not to care so much anymore.
Chance leaned foreward and got it, he turned and handed it to her. "Here you are," he whispered back.

Chance heard her comment and laughed to himself. He completly agreed.
Chance grinned at the picture. "Nice," he said quietly.
Scarlett but her chin in one of her palms leaning forward on her desk. She sighed and glanced around the room. Roaming over the clock she sighed, half an hour left. Her eyes then fell on Lucas, she watched him a moment before looking away feeling her skin grow hot. She was very surprsied with herself.

Scarlett got her things together and left the classroom. She chose not to stop at her locker and went straight to science.
Chance left math and headed to his Hostory class. He only had to get threw that then he could go relax in photography the one class he actually enjoyed.

Scarlett rolled her eyes. "Do you have to ask? Boring as always."
Scarlett watched him leave, but turned away when he started to return. Taking a slow breath she ran a hand over her arm and proped her chin up.
Chance saw he and Preston were in the same class again. He watched her while she seemed to be daydreaming, then realizing what he was doing looked away. idiot he thought about himself.

Slightly mortified Chance sunk a little in his seat. Now he really was an idiot.
"Umm," Scarlett hummed she looked over the procedure of hte the lab. She groaned inwardly, it was with a Chinese fortune teller that could read you emotions when you laid it on your hand. Not only the most boring, but it caused so many kids, especially younger classmen, to act immature. "We need some water and a paper towel."

"I hate this lab," Scarlett muttered, along with many other things.. "Umm, 'compare how the Teller acts when placed on a wet paper towel and a persons hand.' Oh my gosh." Scarlett tucked some hair behind her ear and stared at the materials.
Chance, once again, glanced at Preston. He wished he had his camera.

Scarlett failed at trying to surpress a laugh. Covering her mouth she blushed and pointed to the paper. "There's a Fortune teller thing in china that supposidly can tell what emotion your feeling." She picked up the Teller and showed it to him, it was made of a thin paper and cut in the shape of a fish. "Like ths."
Chance glanced over at Preston while she answered the question. He grinned at her answer and how the teacher was stumped by her response.

Chance laughed along with a few other students at the teacher's exit to his desk. For a few seconds he stayed in his seat before he tunred and glanced around the rom.
"Yeah," Scarlett said regaining her composure. "Here," she took his hand and turned it palm up and laid the Teller in it. "Now we wait and see what it does."
She dropped her hand away quickly and pretened to be staring intently at the Teller.

Over the top of her eye Scarlett saw Lucas watching her. She looked up at looked at him. "What?" she asked.
Chance watched Preston in slight awe that someone could do that and not care about other people around.

Chance waited for the room to clear out watching Preston leave. He sighed and headed to Photography. He knew the class wouldnt be so horrible, he always enjoyed it.
Scarlett opend and closed her mouth looking ath the teller then the lab paper wanting to change the subject from her. "Well if you are emotional or feeling happy, your on the right track."

"You know your assignment," Chances teacher said. "Go be happy, and dont use flash unless absolutly nesacary!"
Chace stayed in his seat watching his class mates meander around the room. Reach down Chane took his camera, which he had gotten quickly before going to class, and stood moving around looking for something to strike his intrest. But he already knew what he wanted a picture of.
Scarlett fought a grin from her face trying hard not to think of him as cute. She took the teller back and set it on the paper towel. "Done,"

"Fifteen," Scarlett said rolling her eyes. "You could have said something if it was bothering you."
Chance walked over to the edge where the two room were divided making sure his flash was off. He aimed his camera at Preston zooming in on her face and making the background blurry. He took the picture.

Chance snapped another picture of her before turning away, he didnt want the art teacher, or his teacher to say anything to him.
"Thats why I hate the lab." Scarlett said. "Were sopossed ot see that the teller reacts to different things, your hands were slightly sweaty so it turned colors. On the nutral paper towel it goes red." Scarlett picked the teller up laying it in her palm. Her voice lowered when she spoke again. "My hands are dry so it darkens."

Snapping another picture of a stool Chance sighed. Was that really the best he could do? He turned and saw Preston. "Hey," he said lightly.
"Sure," Scarlett said, she set the fish back in his hand.
"Sure," Scarlett said, she set the fish back in his hand.
Idiot Chance thought to himself once again.
"Seriously," Scarlett mumbled. She leaned back in her seat and watched the clock.

Chance obsorbed the picture, it was amazing. He clapped along with a few other people looking over at Preston.
Scarlett folded her arms across her chest. She couldnt beleive a class could drag out like this. No, its gone by to quickly Scarlett ignored that part of her conscience and took her pencil doodling on the desk.

Chance watched her leave, his smile left his face and he was over come by confusion.
Scarlett ignored his first question and looked to the question he was having trouble with. "You need to take the cube root of 97 and multiply it by negative four." she bit her lip, "I think. Math isnt my strong point."
